Pros: Location. Easy access to/from the highway. Bed/bedding was very comfortable. Room was well appointed. Light fixtures, sconces, were wonky/broken.
Cons: Addressed previously.
Location: All good.
The hotel is lovely. The location, wrt the walk to the riverfront, is good. A few minor issues. Mold on the caulking around the tub should be addressed. Lighting above the sink should be centered. Small things that reflect/distract on the quality of the hotel. Room not being ready until 3:15 p.m. was, again, a minor annoyance. All minor issues that detract from what could have been a perfect hotel experience.

Non-welcomingPosted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Cons: Hospitality management.
Location: Great Cuban restaurant with a live combo on weekends-two blocks away.
The staff was not visibly welcoming any of the four days we were there. They did address immediate concerns, but never a hello, good-bye, or thank you for a long stay. I expect better at any hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Historic B. The staff was friendly, especially appreciated Brenda and Dee's help at breakfast, which was excellent.

Nice locationPosted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Location, room, secure parking across the street from the hotel.
Cons: The concierge.
Location: Close to the visitor center, trolley companies and easy access to all the sites Savannah has to offer.
We were fortunate to check in early and by booking through Expedia check in was very quick.. The hotel is very close to the Visitor center, trolley companies and a couple of really nice restaurants (Crystal Beer Palace and Noble Fare, a fine French Restaurant). We liked our king bed suite and the hotel staff was very accommodating except for the concierge who we found to be clueless. Loved our trip and the B Historic Savannah which is in the process of upgrading the facility.

Great base for visiting SCAD.Posted Feb 10, 2015
This hotel is best located for visiting SCAD because it is not to far North and closer to the main SCAD buildings. I was visiting with my son who will be attending that school. It is close to some good restaurants and the concierge was good at making suggestions. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay again.

Nice hotel, but expected higher standardsPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Good location
Cons: Sharpen up worn areas, upgrade breakfast to use dishes. Food was good.
Staff okay. No one made any move to offer to bring bags in. We had to park across street in public garage and lug bags to hotel. We were informed that breakfast no longer included but since we had booked before they terminated this feature, we got vouchers. Signage indicated that had used real dishes before but had now downgraded to styrofoam. Hotel was described as fairly new, but looked a few years old to us. Hotel was nice, but looks like they may be in the process of going downscale. Well located a block away from free trolley. Having been to Savannah in years past, we were really disappointed to see the city, especially the river front area, taken over by cheap tourist shops . Kind of reminded us of the cheap areas of The French Quarter in New Orleans.
