Small roomPosted May 17, 2015
This hotel is a bit "tired". For the price I expected a much nicer room. Not a bad hotel but not great either.

The hotel was very clean, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable. The breakfast offered at the hotel was over priced. Quite a walk to the river, but close to the visitor center where the city tour buses are located. Savannah is beautiful!

Good locationPosted May 10, 2015
It was very comfortable and it was in a good location. I felt the price was high and also the walls seemed thin, I was woken at 6am when the people across the hall from me decided to get up. The staff were not happy to see us nor were they very helpful. I would stay again because the location was great though.

Nice hotel close to Historic DistrictPosted May 5, 2015
Cons: The only thing we weren't really happy with was the breakfast buffet. We thought $13.95 per person for what you got was too much.
Location: Forsythe Park is the most beautiful park in Savannah! We go there every year and just enjoy the beauty. City market is great too!
The hotel was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Was nice to be close to within walking distance of Forsythe Park and the City Market.

Historic District HotelPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff. One of the evening cleaning staff gave me the insider's way to drive into South Carolina from Savannah. Excellent location for me.
Hotel is located at the southwest perimeter of the historic district. You have to be a walker, as I am for the value of exercise on a vacation with lots of good meals. Hotel is located near Mercer House and Forsyth Park. Ten or fifteen minute walk to Paula Deen's restaurant, where I lunched on two days. I parked my rental car in the hotel garage and did not drive it for three nights.

Convenient to everythingPosted May 1, 2015
I would have enjoyed my stay a lot more if we hadn't been on the first floor...and next to the lobby. The hotel was nice, but it was noisy near our room. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of lots of places. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient HotelPosted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness.
Cons: They have underground parking but it was full and we had to park in the garage across the street, which was fine but a little inconvenient.
Location: The hotel is in the middle of the Historic District and walking distance to many sites & restaurants. The river was a little far but still walk-able.
The B Historic was a very nicely run hotel. The room and lobby area were very clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but the area looked nice. It was two blocks away from the Savannah Civic Center where you could get transportation to the river area, as well as pick up tours of the city. We would stay at the B Historic again, if we return to Savannah.

Rooms not clean. Carpets dirty. Mold in bathtub surround. Plastic cups, at $200 per night they should have glassware.
