Convenient location without all the traffic
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: convenient location
Location: 30 minute drive to Tybee Island, shuttle access to historic Savannah, several options for sightseeing or tours, plenty of restaurants
The hotel was in a great location. It wasn't a far drive from all of the areas we needed to visit. It was in a decent location with the exception of the smell of plant down the road, but it wasn't unbearable. The pool was exceptionally clean and the breakfast options were nice for the continental breakfast. We also received a great price through Expedia. It is definitely a place we may consider staying at again when we are back in town.

Remote location to Savannah but with the Shuttle Bus it was really nice not to look and pay for parking.

Pros: location, cost, cleanliness, and comfort
Cons: add an hour to breakfast
Location: down the road there is a supermarket, chicken spots, and right next door is a lounge/restaurant (though i didn't check it out)
not only was the room very clean and comfortable, the hotel had a number of amenities. the location is also great and takes only minutes to reach savannah in almost a straight run. i didn't feel the area was bad or need to cause alarm.. it's pretty private with a yard all around and trees. if you're on a budget and want a nice clean hotel that provides a good breakfast and is super close to savannah, this is the way to go. i would stay here again and recommend to anyone. plus, if you don't have a car.. they have shuttle that leads into town.

Really great, and a very good price. Very, very helpful and friendly staff, big room which was very clean, plentiful breakfast, and a free ride to the airport or downtown. Honestly, I have no complaints with this hotel at all.

We would stay here again!

Pros: Clean, quiet location. Walking distance to a grocery store and pharmacy.
Cons: Small workout room and pool. There was a small colony of ants just outside the workout room.
Location: Easy to get to, close to on/off ramps to use the highway, close to downtown/historic Savannah.
Overall, we were very happy with our hotel. Staff were polite and the hotel was clean - nothing fancy but well within our budget. We did not take advantage of the pool or workout room which were smaller than I thought from the pictures posted online. Breakfast was crowded unless you were there bright and early. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Not a Hotel Airport, In a Sketchy Area
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: Room was big.
Cons: Seemed to need a lot of repairs. Building seems to be very used.
Location: Not near near the airport. Atleast 15 minutes from airport at 5AM
I booked the room because I had an early morning flight and was going to take the "airport shuttle" in the morning and drop off my rental car the night before, saving an extra night fees on the car. Upon checking in I was informed that the shuttle was not available at the time I needed it in the morning. I was offered a cab instead, which would cost $25. This was cheaper than another night of the rental car, I was going to return. I then asked to be picked up at the airport because I was dropping off my rental car. I was informed that the "complimentary airport shuttle" is for the airport pick-ups only and not for rental cars, eventhough the rental cars are at the airport! So that's another $25 for cab. The shuttle only runs scheduled times, like 4 times a day, that's not a shuttle that's the city bus. Needless to say, I kept the rental car another night and stayed in a sub-standard hotel/motel, 15 minutes from the airport, in a rough neighborhood. It ended up costing me more than any hotel that is actually AT THE AIRPORT, has a 24 hour shuttle with good customer service!!

Not pleased

Awful. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Poor customer service. Breakfast buffet is lack luster and there is a very unpleasant sewage smell due to something nearby. Not sure if it was the time of year but I was not pleased AT ALL with my stay. The bed was comfortable but that's about the only good thing I will say about it. It says there is a free shuttle to and from the airport but don't be fooled, it doesn't start until 9 or 10am so if you have an early flight home you've got to take a taxi. I do NOT recommend anyone stay here. Spend a little extra money and stay somewhere else

Pros: Shuttle Service
Location: Not a great location but not too far from downtown. The shuttle service was very convenient, but more time options would be better.
Room was clean and well maintained. The shuttle service to and from the historic district was a great convenience! Complimentary breakfast was good.
