Lower Rates, Free Shuttle, Close To City Market

Great choice for us! The free shuttle was perfect for my wheel chair bound wife to come & go into historic Savannah. Spacious & clean handicapped room. Super friendly staff. Saved over $50 per night over hotels just two blocks closer to downtown. Really good value overall.

Basic hotel

Pros: Location, indoor pool.
Cons: Update carpets and paint.
Very basic hotel. Great for a quick one night stay. Breakfast was tasteless and ordinary as was coffee. Woudn't bother. Smelled musty in the hallways. Carpets are old. Needs some refurbishment. Staff was pleasant but not greatly hospitable. Jacuzzi was extremely small.

Second time we've stayed here since January and both experiences were quite satisfactory. We are particularly impressed with how clean this hotel is.

Location: That's what I wanted to ask the person at the desk
I missed having a concierge type person. I rated the hotel staff disappointing because there were times that No one was at the desk. They even had a sign that stated that they were away helping other guest that they put on the desk. i waited over 5 minutes while the man at the desk was talking to a potential customer on the phone, while I, a "live" paying customer waited. Other than that...we enjoyed our stay.

I BOOKED A STANDARD 2 BED ROOM. WE WERE PLACED IN A HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE ROOM, THAT HAD A TERRIBLE ODOR. WHEN I ASKED THE DESK TO MOVE US BECAUSE I SPECIFICALLY BOOKED A"REGULAR" ROOM, THEY TOLD US WE HAD NO CHOICE BECAUSE WE BOOKED WITH A THIRD PARTY, NAMELY EXPEDIA, AND THAT;S ALL THEY HAD. THEY ADDRESSED THE FOUL ODOR BY HAVING A WORKER SPRAY A COVER SCENT. IT WAS DISGUSTING BECAUSE WE SUSPECTED THE BATHROOM HAD RECENTLY BEEN USED WITHOUT BEING CLEANED. WE HAD ARRIVED BY 3:00 PM BUT WERE PUT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST. WE WILL NEVER AGAIN STAY AT A BEST WESTERN OR BOOK WITH EXPEDIA !WESTERN

Used it for a business trip. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful. Kept good attitude during a trying experience trying to check me out early due to computer issue. Room was large and comfortable.

Vacation

Hot tub was cold and swelled. Pool was small. Front desk person had to work breakfast area. Room wasn't vacuumed each day, we were there a week!
