“Great Location & Price”

I visit Savannah frequently and was impressed with this hotel. The rooms are very nice, it doesn't have a hotel room feel. It's also in a great location! We felt very safe walking back after our evening out and it's perfect for parking your car and enjoying the city. I would caution that the double beds are very small - you wouldn't want four adults to have to share. Also, I would call and ask for a room on the backside of the hotel. Bay St. can be loud if you go to sleep early.

“Location, Location, Location”

The concierge was very helpful--went above the call of duty! Location is terrific. You don't have to use your car as everything is within walking distance. Parking is difficult around the city, anyway. Room was comfortable and clean. Spacious bathroom. Breakfast was "okay." We took advantage of it on a couple of mornings. We enjoyed our stay.

“pleasantly surprised...”

This hotel was great. It was an easy walk to River Street nightlife which I expected. What I didn't expect was how nice the room would be. Very nicely appointed- and the bathroom was great- water pressure like a fire hose. The guy at the front desk was really nice and was able to get me on the ground floor near my car. I give this place a perfect score.

“Can't wait to go back!”

The rooms are extremely nice. The beds were great! Not like the other hotel beds. They were actually quite pleasant to sleep on. Very convenient location. Right in the downtown historic district. Within walking distance to all of the attractions. Free parking! We didn't move our car all weekend. Extremely nice staff. The other reviews say that the hotel was under renovations, but we did not experience any of that. Clean rooms. Fridge, microwave, large TV & free breakfast. Very, very nice all the way around!

“A Great Place to Stay”

This hotel has recently been renovated ... and I can say that our stay was absolutely wonderful. The continental breakfast left a little to be desired ... the bananas were over ripe ... and over 5 days they never had more to put out. But overall, if I were to plan another trip to Savannah, I would defintely choose The Promenade. Everything you might want to see is within walking distance ... and you walk out of your room to a outdoor hallway/balcony ... rather than an indoor hallway. Immediate access to the outdoors is a big plus in my opinion. The swimming pool is not attached to the building ... you have to cross a street to get to it ... and the one time we went to check it out, it was locked ... but that was not our main reason to come. Definitely worth it!

“Very Nicely Kept, Friendly Servic”

The hotel workers are very nice. Front desk polite, and the concierge second to none for advice. The lawn workers and maid service were great, never was bothered, didnt even know they were there. The Front desk even calls right after check in to make sure all is ok. It's a bit noisy outside during weekend nites, but this isnt the hotels fault.
