Nice hotel great location.

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The room was large and tho we had two queen sized beds we didn't feel crowded at all.
Cons: Four towels instead of three would have been nice.
Location: The historic district is nearby, also restaurants. Riverstreet was only a few minutes away. It was a great location.
We were close to everything we wanted to see, mainly the historic district. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard - it was so relaxing after being cooped up in the car for hours. Also the staff was very attentive, they have complementary ice tea and a big pitcher of ice water, and the hotel itself and rooms were nicely decorated. We'll definitely book with them again.

Walkable distance to shops, nightlife etc. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. They keep complementary fresh ice tea and coffee on hand all day, which was a nice touch.

Nice hotel in inconvenient location

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Nice finishes, refrigerators in room, nice outdoor area. Has a bar.
Hotel itself was perfectly fine. I completely misunderstood it's location however. It's not close to anything which means you have to drive. Valet at the hotel is $15 and you do get in and out privileges, so that is not bad, but nothing much to walk to. Also, I was misled into thinking the hot breakfast was included in the price. It is not. It's available - -for $9.95 per person.

Nice hotel but at the end of historic Savannah .

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Nice place with very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was lousy though. There seamed to always be sweet tea and coffee in the lobby and the hotel bar was the best source of local info. Valet parking was great . But getting a taxi was sometimes a problem , best to call ahead.

Good hotel on the edge of the historic district.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
This was our second stay at this hotel and it was as good as I remembered. Check-in was speedy, friendly and informative. The hotel is tastefully decorated, clean, bright and modern. Our room was spacious and well appointed and, most importantly, very comfortable. Breakfast catered for all tastes and the staff made us very welcome. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the historic district so there are no transport issues. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore Savannah.

Mother / Daughter weekend of fun!

Posted Jul 7, 2014
This hotel was conveniently located so that we could walk to 4th of July Fireworks, River Street, Breakfast and dinner restaurants and shopping! The staff was warm and friendly. The rooms were quiet and the beds were super comfortable . Free coffee in the lobby added to the enjoyment. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel in Walking Distance of City Market

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The lobby, patio, bar, beds.
Cons: The towels in the rooms were not as plush as I would have wanted. The pool was very small.
Location: The hotel is in a quiet location across the street from the Savannah Welcome Center, and it's within walking distance of City Market.
We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott. The facilities were beautiful: lobby, bar, gym, room etc. The lobby had complementary iced tea and water for guests. The hotel is in a quiet location on the edge of historic Savannah within walking distance of all the action. We enjoyed the happy hour and sitting outside on the nice brick/wrought iron patio that is separate from the pool. Patio is well furnished and peaceful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Warm Hospitality from Beginning to End!

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: In addition to the great hospitality, loved the complimentary teas and coffee in the lobby all day.
Location: The location was right across from the Welcome Center and great restaurants were nearby. Easy to walk to everything you'd need!
We were greeted by the nicest young man who was our valet, followed by a happy attentive front desk clerk. They helped us to our room, find a great place to eat dinner, and locate the church for the wedding the following day. Our room was clean as a whistle and our beds comfy as could be. I would definitely make the Marriott Courtyard our #1 place to stay when visiting Savannah again!
