Great experience with this hotel. Its super clean and the staff was super. I had my 3 kiddos with me and we were all very comfortable. I am definitely staying at this chain of hotels from now on!

Nice new hotel. Doubletree beds and cookies rock!Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Size of room and warm cookies
Checked in late at night...very tired from a long drive. The check in was quick easy and friendly. The room was comfortable as usual with Doubletree. Good value on Expedia. Would recommended over some of the other hotels off the same exit.

Peaceful place for travelers to rest.Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: The warm, delicious cookie that welcomed us. What a unique way to be remembered. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location.
Location: We were there for our son's football game that was held in Savannah. We didn't sight see, but would like to come back to do some of that later.
My husband and I were more than pleased with our stay at DoubleTree. From the warm welcome with a cookie to the attention to detail and comfortable, clean room, we agreed that this was all in all one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Although we didn't need any extra service, there was the feeling that you had been taken care of. The atmosphere created was one of warmth and true Southern hospitality.

OkPosted Nov 17, 2014
It was ok. Not as nice as the photos lead you to believe. Paint in the bathroom was peeling off the ceiling. It was a suite. A very small one.

Nice HotelPosted Oct 23, 2014
Location: Location was very close to the airport which was very convenient and downtown Savannah was just a short drive away.
Very pleased with this hotel. The room was perfect for our family of 4, the pull-out couch was very convenient, loved the complimentary products, and hotel lounge was an added bonus!

This hotel was an unexpected delight. The room was beautiful and the service excellent and very helpful. They even allow you to leave your car there during your trip and will arrange for the shuttle to pick you up which saves you a needless parking expenditure!

Great location.Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Everything! Loved the "seating area" in the front of my room, complete with a TV and a couch, as well as a desk. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
Location: Many, many restaurants in this area, as well as hotels. Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Savannah.
Hotel was much more than I expected. I arrived around 7pm and was greeted by a very nice receptionist and after checking in she offered me a cookie for staying at the hotel. The hotel was near many restaurants, which made getting a late dinner easy. The hotel was beautiful and my room was incredible. Very happy with my stay here.

Golfers -- a perfect location for an airport stayPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff, price
Location: Golf (Crosswinds), Sam Sneads Restaurant and Oak Grill
I stayed at the Doubletree near the Savannah Hilton Head Airport because I had a 6:30am flight the next morning, and staying in Savannah would have been inconvenient and required a really early wake up call! The free shuttle helped push me over the edge. Room was tidy, lobby is nice, and across the street is a Sam Snead's oak fired grill which if you are a golfer you'll loved. Lots of memorabilia and a really tasteful clubhouse style experience with good food. I heard a little TV noise coming from the room next door but a quick call to the front desk and it was handled - the TV was turned down and that was that. By the way, next door to the hotel is a nice course called Crosswinds with a grass range, 9 hole par-3, and 18 hole championship course. It's a great value and has stands of pines, lakes, and waste areas that are almost reminiscent of Pinehurst in places - resort course in others. Play it if you can.
