Hotel stopover when visiting Savannah, Hilton HeadPosted May 17, 2014
Pros: convenient to I-95
The Doubletree at Savannah Airport area is good hotel to catch your breath. We traveled from above Atlanta and the Double Tree was a reasonbly priced hotel compared to staying in the city of Savannah where we planned to visit. The Double Tree sits off I-95 and is close to Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head South Carolina. Double Tree has nice, quiet, clean, spacious rooms, an indoor pool, spa and exercise room. The Hotel is close to places to eat and shop.

Outstanding stay near SavannahPosted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: Well designed rooms full of amenities rather than the big but mostly empty spaces offered by competitors in this price range.
Cons: The wall mounted room temp control seemed off. We had to set a lower temp on the control to get the desired room temp.
Location: Nearby is a great restaurant with a golf country club atmosphere and decor named after Golf Legend Sam Snead.
We loved the rooms, which feature two TV's, a K Cup coffee maker, a small fridge and other amenities that make them very "liveable" for a multiple day stay on business or to visit the many attractions of Savannah. The WiFi internet worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is a spacious, attractive, and comfortable gathering place. The lobby includes a bar, TV's, and snack counter. Be alert when planning your stay. Prices vary depending on time of year and day of the week. Overall, this hotel, compared to similar competitors at this level of accommodation, provides great value for the money and costs much less than a stay in downtown Savannah.

Easy access to airport and large rooms.Posted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: Size of the rooms and the staff.
Location: Close the plenty of restaurant options as Pooler is growing and easy access to downtown Savannah.
The location is easy to get to the airport and easy access to the interstate. Plenty of nearby restaurants as the Pooler area is growing. Easy access to downtown Savannah. The rooms are very spacious and nicely designed. The hotel was changing their business name and going through some remodeling due to the change so I expect next time I stay here it will be even nicer. I had a enjoyable 2 night stay.

Non-working A/CPosted Nov 25, 2013
My family stayed at the Cambria Suites on a Friday night on the way down to Disney World. After getting my kids in the bed, it came to our attention that the A/C was not working. The maintenance man came up, looked at it, and said we would have to change rooms. We were offered a free buffet breakfast (which was awful) in exchange for our inconvenience. I had booked through Expedia (before our trip) for the following Saturday night on our way back from Disney World. Thinking our experience was a fluke, we decided to keep the reservation and give them another try. We were given the same room upon check-in that we were given the prior Friday night. I assumed that in a week's time, the A/C would have been fixed. Wrong! We were then moved to another room......where the A/C was also broken. We finally had to be moved to a suite without a King bed. And the only thing that was done was we were once again offered a free breakfast buffet. NEVER staying here again!

Loved it!Posted Nov 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was my first stay in a Cambria and I will stay again and again and again. I can't say enough by how well I was treated, the wonderful staff at the front desk, the beautiful room. I am a frequent traveler and will always look for a Cambria to stay in. It was a stark contrast to how I was treated at a well known chain hotel the night before. I will stay at Cambria and not at the other chain hotel.

Nice budget hotel if you want to stay near the Savannah Hilton Head Airport. The breakfast cost about $10 per person and is very similar to what other hotels give you free of charge. Skip it and have breakfast elsewhere.
