“YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED FOR THE PRICE!”

Sheila at the front desk was wonderful! She helped make so many arrangements for us and was full of good info! The whole staff was great! I would recommend this inn to anyone. We will definitely stay again though there was no sign of Charley in his room, 325 (Charley's room where we stayed). Loved reading the journal entries other guests left! Wine & hors de voures reception was more than adequate (good company too), and breakfast was pleasant and delicious. GREAT VALUE!

“An Exceptional Stay”

This was our first visit to East Bay Inn, but it won't be our last. With the possible exception of the bathroom, which need updating, the room was fantastic. From the high postered beds, high ceilings, exceptional furnishings and exposed brick walls, we knew that this was going to be an unique experience. The southern charm and hospitality of the staff only added to that feeling. My wife and I loved the wine and cheese socials. They gave us a chance to meet and mingle with our fellow travelers. Plus, you are right in the middle of Savannah's historic district. Everything was within easy walking distance from the Inn. This was truly an exceptional stay.

“Wonderful B&B type small hotel”

We truly enjoyed the very spacious hotel room, which included a queen size rice poster bed, sitting area, and entry way. It was a very romantic getaway for us. An added feature was being a very short walk from the River walk, great restaurants, and historic houses. The service was exemplary, particularly with the breakfast. The wine and cheese in the evening was also fun to attend. Turn-down service was also an added feature. I look forward to returning to the hotel.

“Great Charm!”

This hotel is lovely and has great character and charm! Just across the street is the Savannah Riverwalk area with the scenic view of the River. We only spent a night there but are looking forward to returning in the future. Negatives? Has limited parking and you are charged an extra fee for the parking away from the Hotel but the staff were friendly and the Hotel charm made up for the parking situation. If you like old Hotels with charm then this Hotel is for you.

“Great location, lovely room”

Enjoyed stay at East Bay. The room was very comfortable and the location can't be beat. We followed the advice of another reviewer and had a terrific meal at Cha Bella. We'd stay here again if back in Savannah.

A great B&B/Hotel with charm and an elevator! Nightly turn-down service was wonderful, even fills the ice bucket.

“Best Front Desk Service Ever”

Sheila at the front desk improved our stay from 4 stars to 5. She was just wonderful. She recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch on River Street; remembered us every single time we came and went; attempted turn down service, even though we had taken a nap and the bed was a mess; etc. We will definitely retrun to this hotel!
