Thank you for the feedback and I apologize for the inconvenience of the renovations during your stay. In regards to rhe bugs my pest control vendor was here on January 15th and did monthly service. We hope you will give us another chance next time your travel includes Savannah.

My first night I walked into my room after check in to a puddle of water coming from the small fridge. They had to move me but could not put me in the same room with king bed. Instead they put me in a room with two doubles. The room was clean except around the base of the toilet. Housekeeping needs to make sure they are cleaning the urine from the base of the toilet. The bed was super comfortable though. I decided to stay in Savannah for another night so I booked the same hotel for the 2nd night because the bed was comfortable. The new room was cleaner and bed still comfy but the fridge was very noisy for some reason. Staff was nice at check in though and I mostly look for a place that's affordable and close to SCAD and has a comfy bed so this ticks all those boxes. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not it but if you want a comfy bed, clean (for the most part) and won't break the budget, Econo Lodge Savannah Midtown is a good place to stay.

This hotels needs to be torn down they have spiders and roaches and the walls are falling apart I will never go back I don’t recommend it for anyone idc who you are.

The beds was very uncomfortable. They charge a $50 deposit. It’s been four days since we stayed and I still have not received the $50 back into my checking account. The location is OK, but the building is very outdated and sketchy. The rooms were OK. I probably will not stay back in this hotel again. We make several trips to Savannah and Tybee a year. Most definitely will not be staying here again.

Your 50 refund was sent for processing on May 30.We are bringing continental breakfast back in the next 2 weeks as soon as food arrives. a good place to get a nights sleep
The room was comfortable. it was serviced daily, fresh towels to replace used ones, etc. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Will not stay again at this place. No breakfast.
The room looked fine, but we found that the bottom of our feet were black when we walked barefoot at night. The bed mattress needed to be replaced as the mattress was warped or had an indent in the mattress that cased each of us to roll toward the center no matter what side you laid on. Staff was friendly. No hair dryers. Strange people would sit on the walkway as we were the last room before the parking lot. These people did not stay at the hotel they were from the area. We did not feel comfortable.

Also in regards to safety it is an on-going issue to have to clean house of local residents we unfortunately get no help from police and city in regards to helping them.

The first room they gave us reeked of smoke. The second room also reeked of smoke, just not as bad as the first one. AC didn’t blow cold, possibly because of the dirty filter. Smoke alarm hanging open contained no battery. Brown stain on the towel. Room overall was not clean.

The hotel is in a central location; minutes to the beach, and to Savannah's historic district. My room was a non-smoking room but the mattress had the smell cigarettes! And, unfortunately, at 3:30 am one of the other guests near my room felt a need to share his/her music with the rest of us! Turning on the noisy A/C unit helped to drown out the noise.

A very nice property for a budget option. It's right on Abercorn and there's plenty of the chain restaurants nearby. There's also a Kroger grocery store right around the corner to get incidentals if you need. So for something safe and convenient in Savannah I think this is a great option in the budget hotel range.

An AWFUL $30/night hotel charging over $100. Totally do NOT understand why Hotels.com would include this hotel on their website: Any positive reviews must be fake. Place needs complete remodel. Cons: 1. Linen in "NON-SMOKING" room stunk of cigarette smoke and had burn hole.* 2. AC/heater stunk of smoke so I did not use. 3. Furniture so nasty Salvation Army would refuse.* 4. Dead bugs in light fixture cover.* 5. One outlet worked. Had to charge phone via laptop with laptop plugged in. 6. Lamp switch did not work. Had to turn bulb out to extinguish. 7. "Dirt" on door and walls are stains. Tried scrubbing them off with shampoo but they did not come off.* 8. No lobby so no coffee *Have photos to support statements. Pros: 1. Lots of hot water. 2. Clean towels 3. No bed bug bites. 4. Probably adequate for quickie if partner doesn't expect much.
