Got what I paid forPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Location out of downtown, but close enough to get there easily.
Cons: A serious cleaning/sanding and fresh coat of paint indoors AND outdoors would improve appearance.
Location: I didn't do anything near the hotel...all activities were downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. It was my first ever visit to Savannah.
I needed an inexpensive place to stay, and when reading the more recent reviews, it appeared as if there had been some positive changes from older review dates. However, my room did not appear to have been updated/renovated recently. There were huge flakes of 'paint' that peeled off in the bath tub, and a large crack in the wall from behind the mirror. My linens felt like they had been washed, but were stained, therefore, did not LOOK clean. There was a patched tear on the dust ruffle. The cord for the floor lamp had been wrapped with an abundance of electrical tape for some reason, so it just looked messy. Carpet did not look clean at all. I'll save up for my next stay elsewhere... sorry, but the rooms need some freshening up.

OK Money Not very cleanPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Motel is convenient to the highway. There are many restaurants within walking distance including a restaurant and bar/lounge connected to the motel.
Cons: Cleanliness of bathroom. Carpeting is worn.
Location: Lots of restaurants. t was an in and out stay for the half marathon
Room was quiet enough being on the backside of the hotel. Hotel was full, but I was not awakened by noises. Bathroom had three dead roaches n the floor and hair in the tub. I have low standards when I am just finding a place to crash for the night so it was OK for me. Being a retired Seabee, I have slept on my share of floors.

You get what you pay forPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were looking for a really inexpensive place to stay the night before we visited a college. So, we got what we paid for. Room had an, old, dingy smell. The towels were pretty worn and we had a squeaky A/C unit that kept us up all night. The free continental breakfast was a pretty big disappointment unless you want cereal or toast. Muffins and/or fruit would have been an improvement.

TerriblePosted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was probably the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was not cleaned. ie. hair in the sink and counter was dirty. Toilet was broken and so was the air. We were so uncomfortable that we could barely sleep

Cons: tear it down.
Gfeces on bathroom wall. Seen a roach. We left. Thanks to Expedia we got a full refund. Nastiest place I have seen hotel wise.

Great last resort hotelPosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: It's close to Savannah.
This hotel wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. I wasn't really expecting much, considering it was just an over night stay until I got into Savannah. The king size bed slept pretty well, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The place seemed to be a little older, but everything was in working condition, so there's no complaints there.

Never return due to non-maintenance of propertyPosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Front Desk was pleasant, the construction of the buildings/doors needed a refresh of paint. The comforter between the Bedspread and top sheet was ripped and torn terribly. The manager corrected the situation with the bedding. The hotel desperately needs an overhaul. The saying is "You Get What You Pay For" but in this instance, I can't say that I did.

Not Bad for the MoneyPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was more than comfortable and appeared to be freshly painted. The first room we checked into had a faulty AC unit, and we were given another room without question. Plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby.
