Nice B&B in a quiet neighborhood, lovely street

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Easy walking to many attractions. Morning breakfast, evening wine and cheese, and late night dessert offers a chance to meet interesting people. Food quality was good and the offerings were changed each day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Beautiful courtyard. The only two drawbacks are there are no wheelchair ramps or elevators, and no parking lot. On street metered parking is available and 48 hour parking passes may be purchased for $12.00. Overall a good experience!

Nice Place in a Beautiful City

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Beautiful old home. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night affording a good nights sleep.
Cons: Parking is on street. Fri. & Sat. night requires parking on opposite sides of the street for street cleaning, requiring changing parking places.
Location: The tours are great. Plenty of monuments and historical sights to see. Restaurants with a river view are a 20 minute walk away.
We arrived on a Friday evening and departed Sunday morning and had a short, but great wedding anniversary celebration. Lots of walking, shopping and taking in the great beauty and history of the city. We would take to 20 minute walk to the river and then a bicycle "rick-shaw" ride back to the B&B each evening.

Traditiona hotel in heart of the old quarter

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Terrific location a walk to everything-delightful welcome wine & savouries in the early evening, a great way to meet guests which I did.
Cons: Casual attitude from 2 reception staff. One let a lady carry a heavy case from the street saying he'd be with her when finished on the computer!
Location: Right in the heart of the old quarter in a beautiful tree lined street-a walk to all the sights.
Fabulous welcome from older lady and young girl staff member when I arrived later in the evening. Suitcase whisked away and was shown the delightful sitting room to partake of dessert since I had not eaten that evening. Was in the old part of the hotel which was comfortable and away from the courtyard where b'fast was served every day which I was delighted about since I had asked for a quiet room.

Romantic B&B on a lovely street in Savannah...

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Location: Very close to all attractions, visitors center, river street, etc. Perfect location!
From the moment we walked through the doors, we were treated with care and warmth. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was slightly on the smaller side than we're used to, but the charm of the inn made up for a few short comings. My husband and I stayed in a garden room overlooking tranquil fountains and a peaceful courtyard. Breakfast was served timely each morning, however, the meal was similar to a Holiday Inn or standard hotel, nothing special. The cook greeted us and was very nice, but the food just didn't make the cut and was very heavy on butter/grease. The afternoon wine & cheese in the great room was delightful, as was speaking to numerous couples from all over the country. We will be back, but I hope a few details such as the breakfast and upkeep of the guest use refrigerator improves.

Nice hotel in historic section of Savannah.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was more like a bed and breakfast. Supplied breakfast was very good with a variety of food choices. Evening desert was also provided in the parlour. Easy and short walk to all the historic section of Savannah.

From the first moment we stepped through the door we were attended to by the very gracious staff. The location is excellent in the old part of town, near historic parks and the market.
