Fabulous place to stay in SavannahPosted Jun 23, 2015
We recently stayed at Eliza Thompson House and can't recommend it and the staff highly enough. Excellent position in the historic area of Savannah, and Mel and Kelly were the most delightful of hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the little extra touches such as the wine and cheese social, and the cake and coffee later in the evening were a nice way to meet the other guests. Our room was so lovely-the Admiral Turner room in the main house - was grandly appointed and so comfortable. Wifi was quick and complimentary which was good. We loved our stay in Savannah and would definitely recommend you stay at Eliza Thompson House.

Much needed vacationPosted Jun 20, 2015
We stayed 3 days/nights at the Eliza Thompson House, it is in the right place, close to everything, convenient, in a very nice part of Savannah. The staff and the amenities offered were over the top!. Breakfast in the courtyard, wine and finger foods in the evening, coffee and dessert at night were all fresh and different every night. The only problem we had were all of the steps, there are a lot of steps up and down to get to different levels. But, all things considered, it was over the top!..

very cosy combination of bed and breakfastPosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: On a quiet street with huge trees
Cons: Don't visit in the hot season.
Location: excellent location, everything in walking distance.
Boutique hotel with bed and breakfast flavour. Happy hour with wine and a bite to eat and after dinner desert.

Enjoyed our stay and Savannah. We are in our late 70's and your location made it easy to get around.First trip to Savannah. Could not have had a better time! The food was out standing and we met some very nice people.

DelightfulPosted May 2, 2015
Great people and location. You can walk to anything. Have a breakfast, wine and cheese tasting time, and dessert before bed. Well worth the expense. You will fall in love with the staff.

Historical beauty, that is close to everything!Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Everything was very nice and neat. Loved the wine and cheese cocktail hour. Fun to visit with all travelers. We could walk everywhere
Location: Close to the park and Mercer house. Close to everything pretty much.
Would love to come back to this bed and breakfast and stay for a longer time. Very close to many historical sites and to many fun restaurants. Would love to spend more time here. I especially enjoyed the wine and cheese cocktail hour! Would recommend this to couples that want to get away from it all.

This Bed and Breakfast was a perfect fit for our needs. Located in the Historic District but quiet, allowed us to stay in one of the homes we were touring. The wine and cheese evening gatherings in the drawing room gave us an opportunity to chat with other guests about their tours things to see and places to dine. The staff gave us great help finding what we wanted to do and helped us get there!
