Wonderful girls weekend!

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, comfortable mattress, great location, very friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast, wine and cheese and desserts.
Location: A few blocks away from restaurants, shopping and historic sites but on a quiet street. No car needed to enjoy the city.
This historic inn was perfectly situated to enjoy the historic district. Located on beautiful and quiet Jones Street it was just a short walk to many historic sites, great shopping and excellent food. No need for a rental car. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed socializing with other guests at the wine and cheese hour every evening. Breakfast was delicious and filling every morning. We even took advantage of the after dinner desert served one night. Our room was clean and the mattress was one of the most comfortable that I have slept on. All rooms are decorated with antiques and period pieces so you really get a sense of history missing from a modern hotel. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Savannah.

Great as always

Pros: Certainly the location, which is in the heart of the historic district. All the amenities and the comfortable room are bonuses.
Cons: Finding the place. Map quest and Google maps never help much; and the street signs in Savannah are often non-existent. Easy directions would help.
Location: The place is right in the historic district, so check any Savannah website, and the list of activities applies.
This was our fourth stay, and we plan to be back soon. We love staying off the courtyard, and the breakfast holds us until 2 pm. Wine and cheese before dinner; pastries and decaf after dinner: who could ask for anything more?

Most comfortable bed!

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great!
Cons: The shower head had a leak and that was shooting out of the top. Although it was small, it was enough to bother you.
Location: The hotel was just a couple blocks from Forsythe Park and also in the middle of downtown.
We loved staying here! The staff and patrons of the hotel were very friendly. It was convenient to downtown.

Beautiful B&B in heart of the Historic District

Everything was wonderful! Our room looked out onto a lovely garden. We especially enjoyed the hospitality gestures of pre dinner wine and then coffee and dessert served in the lounge so all of the guests could mingle and share our Savannah experiences!

My Daughter was accepted to SCAD and we came down from Michigan to look at the school. The Inn was right across the street to the admissions office, first reason I booked it. We were very pleased with the easy check in and quick tour, our room was very clean and big with 2 beds. Loved the hot breakfast that was included. Not a place for young children, perfect for couples.

Pros: WE really enjoyed the evening gathering in the parlor with the other guests. Wine, food, and good conversation.
Cons: Just some attention to details. For example a small nightstand on the other side of the bed in the former nursery. Repair of the suitcase stand.
Location: Great location away from the main streets but close enough to several good restaurants and attractions.
We really enjoyed our visit to Savannah and to Eliza Thompson House. Enjoyed the trolley ride. We also saw the "Christmas Tradition" at the Savannah Theater and highly recommend the show.
