Awesome, as usual

Location is perfect, and quiet. Staff are accommodating and helpful. Breakfasts were great. They also have a wine and cheese get together before dinner and a dessert and coffee after. Lovely experience. We were able to chat with other travelers.

Perfect for seeing Savannah

Posted Apr 4, 2014
This 1847 concerted home is in the heart of the old town of Savannah and walking distance to all points. It is charmingly restored. The complementary wine and cheese and dessert get together a allowed us to meet interesting people. The staff was quite friendly. Only problem is there that there is only street parking with meters that run until 5 pm and they have to be fed every 2 hours. You can buy a parking pass from the front desk, but you have to find a spot.

Beautiful Inn on nicest street in town

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Beautiful old Inn on Jones St, probably the nicest street in the historic district. Can easily walk to all areas of historic district and riverfront. Room was facing the back courtyard and was a little small and didn't have the historic feel of the Inn itself but was satisfactory. The breakfast was only average for this type of stay but also offered wine and cheese in afternoon and desert and coffee in evening which was nice. Service was excellent. Thought Inn was good value for the quality and will go back

Savannah experience

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: It's location and the charm. Also the breakfasts.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room. It needed a good vacuuming, especially under the bed and dresser.
Location: In the middle of the Historic District for great walking, dining and shopping.
This charming inn with eonderful staff is in the midst of the Historic District and Within easy walking distance of everything. We found it expensive and would like to have found, another,B&B that was cheaper. Miss Virginia's"s breakfasts were delicious but the gigs were salty.

Old B&B in good location for historic area.

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Quite street. Several guests were quite friendly and interesting to talk to.
Cons: More interesting breakfast.
Location: Six pence restaurant was nearby and excellent. Squares are all interesting but vagrants apparently live in them.
Nicely located for historic district but far from river area and most restaurants. Our reservations were not held when we arrived late even though we call several time to inform them that we would be late. Bed was very high off the floor, presumably to reflect period of B&B, but difficult to get into unless you are young. Breakfast was basically the same every morning, scrabbled eggs with different additions. We have stayed in many better B&Bs.

Service was great as was location.

The b&b has a terrific location and lots of charm. We were greeted and given a tour-the staff could not have been nicer. Our bed was heavenly, the lovely courtyard view a bonus. They served wine and cheese at cocktail hour, dessert late evening in the parlor, and breakfast on a courtyard patio area. It was a terrific experience but for nearly $300 a night the bathroom was excrutiatingly tiny-and the food could have been a bit more elegant...
