Convenient to airport

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: very spacious rooms
Cons: better staff training for employees at the check-in desk
I chose this hotel in part because they offered free shuttle service to and from the airport. However, my flight from Atlanta was delayed and we didn't get in until midnight. I called the hotel and learned that the last shuttle was at 11:00 p.m. The cab driver didn't use his meter and charged me $15, which seemed high. So I was careful to inquire about the shuttle TO the airport in the morning, where someone was coming to pick me up at 9:00 a.m. "You could leave at 8:15 a.m.," said the desk clerk. I asked, 'But why would I want to leave that early when the airport is less than 15 minutes away?" "Well, in that case you could leave at 8:45," she said. So I showed up at the front desk at 8:35 and learned that the shuttles depart once an hour -- at 8:15, 9:15 and so forth. I could have easily taken the 8:15 a.m. shuttle if I had understood that it was the only option for getting to the airport by 9 a.m. The other thing I wish to note is that there was a dead cockroach on the floor of the hotel lobby, near the coffee bar. I didn't notice it until after I'd had breakfast, or I would have pointed it out to the hotel staff, but by then I was in a rush.

Pros: Quiet area, near stores and restaurants
Cons: May not be hotel's fault but cell phone signal was very weak.
Location: Outlet mall, stores, restaurants are nearby.
First time at Embassy Suites. The check in staff was friendly, housekeeping lady was nice.

Not up to par with other Embassy Suites Locations

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Cons: Breakfast Line should be re-organized. Travelers should not have to wait 30 minutes in line to get a meal off the grill.
Beware of this location claiming to have "2 bedroom suites". ALL rooms have one bedroom, and a sitting area/kitchenette. Also, if you are traveling with young children, bring your own pack and play, as the hotel didn't have any on hand when we checked in. Luckily, there was a Walmart next door.
