Wonderful Get AwayPosted Dec 9, 2009
We had a wonderful stay at the Foley House Inn. The staff was very accommodating and sensitive to our needs. Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening treat were very special. We celebrated our 40th anniversary during our stay and look forward, Lord willing, to returning for many more special occasions.

Very romantic, beautiful and comfortable Inn. A must stay if you are in the Savannah area. Food is exceptional. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Possibly a friendly spirit will make an appearance.

Great Bed & BreakfastPosted Jul 25, 2009 on Hotels.com
We booked the Beekman Place room online, which we found out was in the carriage house, instead of the main house, but when we arrived, we were given a free upgrade to the Doddington Room in the main house. It was a beautiful room with high ceilings, a fireplace, and a king-size four-post bed. The location was within walking distance of the Riverwalk. The breakfast served was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to others, just keep in mind that it is historic so some people might not like that it is an older place, but we loved it.

Great Location and StaffPosted Jun 15, 2009 on Hotels.com
The Foley House is located in the middle of the Savannah Historic District. You can walk anywhere in 10 minutes. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We stayed in the Wanstead Room which was downstairs under the front entrance. The sound insulation from the floor above was poor, but was not a problem since all guests and hotel staff were quiet and courteous. The air conditioner was a little loud and some of the wall paper was pealing in the breakfast area. All of the problems were very minor. Overall this is a great place to stay in Savannah.

LovelyPosted May 11, 2009
Great food, gorgeous setting, helpful staff etc. people next door to us were loud and wouldn't quiet down, keeping us awake after a long, long drive to Savannah. If it's after 10 p.m. there's not much recourse, the manager leaves at 10.

Loved it...Loved it...Loved it....Posted Apr 29, 2009
The Foley's house was in a central location of the historic district and was a reason why we first choose them. After staying with them we would go back due to their great hospitality service and the special attention/detail they deliver to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast each morning was great and always started your day on a positive note. Thanks for making our vacation a good one in Savannah!!

Wonderfull StaffPosted Apr 1, 2009
Very nice and informative staff; unfortunately, I was unable to eat breakfast but the afternoon tea and wine&nibbles were really well done. Made you fell welcome. Great location to see Savannah.

outstanding hotelPosted Feb 18, 2009 on Hotels.com
We have been visiting Savannah for years and my husband and I like the Foley Inn better than anywhere we have stayed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in period antiques with high ceilings and numerous rooms with balconies or small outside seating areas; updated bathrooms were clean and fresh with hot water anytime it was needed; breakfast was gourmet with very good coffee; the tea time refreshments and early evening cocktail hour was very nice; wonderful neighborhood, within walking distance of River Street, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff; Will definitely stay here each time we are in Savannah
