45th Wedding AnniversaryPosted Jan 9, 2014
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome by the staff. They were very helpful in telling us what we could do around Savannah. The breakfast were outstanding. Each evening there were light snacks from 6:00 to 7:00 with desert and coffee the rest of the evening. When it came time for us to do the recommended trolley tour, they called and we were picked up at the B&B and were returned to the B&B. Forsyth Park across the street is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the fresh air. With history that goes back nearly 300 years there are plenty of historic places to see and enjoy -- including the ghost tours. The Savannah River Front is a great place to tour and many great places to eat.

A Savannah WeddingPosted Nov 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The inn was wonderful. The location cannot be beat, right across from Forsyth Park. There is a bit of traffic that drives by and it can get loud when you're on the porch, but during the early and late hours of the weekend it's quite pleasant. Our rooms were spacious and lovely vaulted ceilings. We had had a small wedding ceremony in the courtyard and it was a perfect little spot that was hidden by people passing by. The staff was willing to go out of their way to ensure our comfort and well being.

Amazing B&BPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Chose this B&B for a weekend in Savannah. Excellent location near everything. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to find us dinner reservations on short notice during a busy weekend. Breakfast was great, and the room was immaculate. Highly, highly recommend.

Cons: I don't think it could
Location: Within easy walking distance of everything and overlooking Forsyth Park, which was amazing.
What an amazing place to stay. From the minute we walked into Forsyth Park Inn we felt relaxed and at home. The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Delicious home-cooked breakfasts every morning and drinks in the evening on the verandah overlooking Forsyth Park. Would recommend anyone to stay there. We stayed three nights, but another time would stay a week.

An excellent choice to see Savannah! It was right across from the park and walking distance to many restaurants and historical sights. The staff was always helpful.

The heritage aspects of the hotel, the location on the park, the well-prepared hospitality food and breakfasts, and the attentive, friendly staff made for a thoroughly enjoyable visit. The secluded outdoor courtyard provided a very pleasant setting for breaks at any time during the day. We enjoy walking, so the non-central location provided a good starting point for touring both heritage and newer parts of the city. Walking time to the heritage centers is minimal. The room was slightly small (understandable in a heritage structure) and the air conditioning device was intrusive.
