Savannah 2015 B&BPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The lay out. Most of all we liked Dewayne.
Cons: I liked everything. Maybe adding a dinner would be good. Most guests are out seeing the city at dinner time so im guessing it wouldn't be practicle.
Location: Directly across the street from Forsyth Park. Couldn't be in a better location. It was so nice to be located by the park.
We stayed a full week. Love the old house. It was built in 1893. They have the rooms separated so we didn't have any problem with privacy. We stayed downstairs in room 11. Great experience. The Head staff man Dewayne was what really made the Forsyth Inn stand out! He was so friendly and helpful. He gave us directions, made our reservations and recommended all the best places to see and eat. They are lucky to have him. He is why we will go back to Forsyth in when we return To Savannah!

Southern EscapePosted Mar 7, 2015
My wife and I had enough if the snow and cold of this winter on Cape Cod! We got a great package deal from expedia and set off for Savannah Georgia. The Forsyth Inn was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy warm dry days! The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and more than accommodating. I gave the facilities a lower score simply because an old inn has older fixtures and the like.

beautiful old south charmPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Bed and breakfast nice and quiet, with plenty of space, perfectly restored, super hig ceiliings with beautiful doors, furniture and paintings.
Location: Anything of interest in historic savannah is easily gotten too, as the city is flat and delightful to walk through all of its' square Great hospitalit
this inn was highly recommended in expedia, and it was perfect for us. Beautifully restored, spotlessly clean Victorian house facing Forsyth park, delicious and carefully made breakfasts ( bisquits with gravy, a type of super light, fluffy French toast with almonds, etc.) . Our hostesses, including Maria, were friendly, informative and attentive to a fault. One can walk to any spot in the historic area, yet be in the charm of an a classic savannah neighborhood. wine and hor d'ourves , make for a perfect cocktail hour!

Very nice inn in the heart of SavannahPosted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: Very elegant and comfortable. I felt like a countess for a couple of days...
Cons: Linens and paper products in bathroom.
Location: Located across from Forsyth Park (duh), which is gorgeous, and conveniently located near a stop on the city transportation system and tour bus routes.
Very nice, well-appointed inn with premium location to all that Savannah has to offer. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, helpful staff.

Very friendly and accommodatingPosted Dec 25, 2014
The staff were wonderful! We had a last minute additional guest in our party and were given a great deal upgrading to a room that could accommodate three.

Excellent experience. Tucked across Forsyth Park from the Mansion, the accommodations, breakfasts, wine & appetizers were perfect.

One of the best Inns we have stayed inPosted Nov 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
A Inn with a touch of old Savannah. The room we had was very large with a view of the park. If you wanted you could have your own fireplace inside your room. Breakfast on the balkony outside was Lovely and so also the light meal in the afternoon and snacks later on. The surroundings was extrordinary and the 10 minutes walk to the center was wunderful.

First class service in every wayPosted Oct 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The service by Duane and the staff was exceptional. It's a beautiful property consistent with the general ambiance of Savannah. My only criticism would be that they need to update their in room televisions.

Old School Charm in the Heart of SavannahPosted Oct 13, 2014
Amazing architecture right across from beautiful Forsyth Park that was always bustling with activity. We stayed in room #8 and had our own little balcony where we had breakfast both mornings. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Wish we had a day or two more.
