Real hospitality and comfort.Posted May 13, 2014
Location: It is less than a hour to Savannah. The locality is a pleasant small town, Richmond Hill.
The hospitality was a 6 (if that's possible). The facility itself is marvelous - whisper quiet A/C, private rooms with a sitting room. It was very relaxing. We took a glass of wine to the gazebo and watched the sun set over the river. It is a very peaceful place.

Gorgeous in ever way!Posted May 5, 2014
My wife and I could not be happier with our stay at Heron Cove. Wonderful proprietors and home. Not your "average" B&B. Very warm and friendly. Terrific breakfast. Sitting room was exactly that - a separate room! Nice.

Off the Beaten PathPosted Apr 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
This Inn turned out to be our favorite stay at an inn, and we've stayed at many fine places. Steve and Ginny make you feel at home upon your arrival, throughout your stay, and right up to the time you say good-bye. As the title indicates, it is about a half hour from Savannah. Don't let that deter you, because the surroundings are beautiful, and so much nicer than staying in the city of Savannah.

A fabulous B&B a little south of SavannahPosted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: The B&B is in a beautiful, sylvan setting and is tastefully decorated. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We felt right at home at Heron Cove
Location: Heron Cove is about 30 minutes south of Savannah and 10 minutes or so off I-95. The main road to the B&B has stores, shops and restaurants.
My wife and I have stayed in many B&B's both in the U.S. and abroad. This was one of the best we have ever encountered. The hosts, Steve and Ginny, were charming and were especially interested in getting to know us and sharing information about their home and area. Steve had called us after we made the reservation and gave us advice on what to see in Savannah as well as dining options. We arrived at the B&B about 7:30 and enjoyed talking with our hosts for about 2 hours that evening while sitting on the porch in front of a fire. This is the first B&B we have encountered where we were given a breakfast menu the night before and had the opportunity to choose food to our liking. The breakfast was outstanding and we ate on fine china in front of bay windows looking out toward the river.

Wonderful Hosts!Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: The hosts and property.
Cons: Need DVD player in guesthouse.
Location: Not far from savannah, about 20 minutes. Not much to do in Richmond hill.
Steve and Ginny made us feel like family. Loved sitting by the fire and talking around the breakfast table with them. Steve worked so hard to make our stay enjoyable. The property was beautiful in a nature oasis. Great treehouse gazebo overlooking the marsh. Secluded and cozy. It was a top notch B and B. Just needs a DVD player in the guesthouse.

Heron Cove B & B StayPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: I liked the peacefulness of the b & b, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the owners.
Cons: Everything is wonderful!
Location: It's located just outside of Savannah.
This was my first experience with a bed and breakfast. I must say that Steven and Jennie, the owners, have set the standard for excellence. My experience was exceptional! Steven and Jennie are extremely nice and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are at home. Trust me, you will. My sister went with me. She is afraid of cats. Cats abide inside and outside the bed and breakfast. However, both Steven and Jennie did an amazing job keeping the cats away from her. The accommodations are quaint and relaxing. The nature is beautiful surrounding the residence. The entire place has an antique, rustic charm. It is exceptionally clean. The tranquility is amazing! Steven and Jennie take time to show you around and share stories with you about their lives. They are genuinely interested in your well being. You will leave with a sincere love for them and a new found friendship. Steven is the chef. He cooks the most amazing custom breakfast ever! I will definitely stay here again.

An absolute dreamPosted Mar 12, 2014
This is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The owners are such amazing people and the work out into the place is incredible. They cook you a fresh breakfast when you wake up! We went on the first day of our honeymoon here and are planning on making it a tradition to revisit for our anniversary. Thank you Steve for the amazing hospitality!

A gem in the woods!Posted Feb 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Heron Cove is a delightful B&B nestled down a winding wooded lane adjacent to a gorgeous marsh. Walk down to the gazebo an enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine twelve feet above the forest floor. The hosts treat you family. And the house is amazing. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Georgia coast.

We thought this stood out as one of our best experiences during our trip to the states. Steve and Ginny were very welcoming , we really felt at home. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Even though it was 20 miles outside Savannah it was a wonderful spot and we had a great meal at a nearby restaurant .
