Clean and comfortable hotel close to Savannah, Ga.

Pros: Location, very clean, friendly staff, nice complimentary breakfast.
Cons: By late evening parking could be an issue.
Location: This hotel is located about 20 minutes from downtown Savannah.
A great place to stay, and make day visits to Savannah, Ga. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of room in the breakfast area, and the complimentary breakfast was good. Helped to make a long weekend a good experience.

time to be demolished!!!!

this hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. The rooms are old and are in serious need of refurbishment. Holiday Inn officials should take away their branding as this hotel does not meet their usual standards. It is also overpriced compared to newer hotels in the area. I would stay away from this property.

Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable facility with great service. Our décor is different than most Holiday Inns. From driving up to our property and seeing our brick exterior to entering our lobby one will see that we have a Southern Charm theme and feeling. I apologize that we were not able to meet your standards with the furnishings we offered.

Comfortable Stay

Pros: Continental breakfast always being taken care of. Staff made sure your stay was good.
Cons: Wi-Fi
Location: Major highway, gas stations
Good hotel by major highway, about 15-20 min drive to historic Savannah. Staff very friendly. Although they provide free wi-fi, it was a very slow connection along with the personal internet connection.

Quiet location close to hwy

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. We requested a quiet room and they delivered. The free breakfast has something for everyone. Cookies and lemonade were in the lobby when we arrived. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Outstanding Customer Service/quiet stay

I'll keep it simple-this Holiday Inn Express was WORTH leaving a review on...Jennifer at the front desk was amazing, professional & knows the local area well (great recommendations) The stay was Southern Hospitality at it's finest, clean, quiet & comfortable rooms even the cleaning staff was so friendly & made you feel "at home"...I highly recommend a stay here!!

No a/c no lemonade no cookies

Two out of the four nights with no air conditioning. No cookies in the lobby as promised and no lemonade. No repairman on duty during weekend hours so we weren't offered any discounts nor any money back for the inconvenience. Nor was there any offer of anything to make right the situation. If I had company at home and my air went out, I would pay whatever to make them comfortable.
