Hotel is undergoing a lot of construction.Posted Nov 22, 2013
Our initial room was not ready. The floor was undergoing a renovation. Our fire alarm was taped over and the fire exit was full of construction supplies. Made the manager aware of this and got a new room. On the brighter side the hamburgers rock! Not to mention the location is pretty good.

Ok, but some rough sleeping from AC & front lightPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: The covered entrance, and the breakfast service
Cons: Get the curtains to overlap in the room, so the front light doesn't blind the guests in this room, and keep us awake all night!
There were (3) issues we had that made for poor sleeping. 1) There were very loud guests in the next room in the middle of the night, I think from a frat formal dance. 2) The AC turned off too frequently and we couldn't get a comfortable sleeping temperature. 3) The incredibly bright light shining on the front of the hotel to light it up, shined into our room all night like a beacon. Literally, it was blinding as I walked out of the bathroom back to my bed. The issue had to do with the curtains, which do not overlap, and therefore cannot be closed to keep the light out fully. It lit up the room all night, and kept all of us awake at different times. The breakfast downstairs in the lobby, while the restaurant was being renovated, was nice and comfortable. The hotel had a covered unloading area, which made it nice as we arrived in the rain and were able to get the kids and luggage out in a dry area. The location was very convenient to the interstate, and the facilities were nice.

nice hotel but terrible front desk staffPosted Oct 28, 2013
the service I receive upon checking in at the front desk was horrible the female clerk seemed as if she had no experience at her job what so ever. I booked the hotel 6 days ahead of time on expedia.com but the clerk was having trouble logging into the system and finding the reservation so I showed her the itinerary I had and the booking reservation to help her along with the process but she still messed up. she charge me the full price for the room again with an additional fee for incidentals, so therefore I got charged twice for the same transaction and the room was not prepped for the amount of guess I had arranged on Expedia and we were charged with the breakfast that was supposed to be free with the suite I booked. I was also disappointed in the hotels bar which was closed and the shuttle bus which never showed at all that day. In all the only good things I have to say about the hotel was the parking spaces, the effective and friendliness of the cleaning staff and the cleanliness of the room.

Air conditioning in the roomPosted Sep 10, 2013
The hotel staff are very professional and friendly. the biggest issue I have with this hotel is the a/c in the rooms. I have stayed in 3 different rooms at this hotel and every unit has been excessively noisey and hard to control the temperature.

Overpriced for what you're getting!Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The lobby area is clean and warm and inviting.
Cons: Increase the number of parking spaces.
Location: Small country town, but close enough to Savannah so that you can drive there to find something to do.
For what I got with this hotel, I would've come out better staying at a cheap motel. The toilet stopped up, and when I asked to have it fixed, the person at the front desk told me that they could not find the plunger. "Full hot breakfast" was not quite that! The food was horrible and so was the service. One hotel employee had her small child there with her at work, and the kid was just wandering around in the breakfast area while she was working. Parking is limited, so some guests had to park on the side street. All of these complaints would have been tolerable had I only been paying $69/night!

OverpricedPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: Close to the highway and lots of places to eat.
Cons: Cleanliness and free breakfast.
A little overpriced for the area. Could have been cleaner. Hotel is close to the highway and lots of places to eat.

Perfect hotel for our stop on the way to Disney!Posted Aug 13, 2013
Great price for a very clean hotel, right off the highway. Staff was very friendly and helpful on places to eat. Pool is not huge, but does the job with a hot tub as well. Saw a nice exercise room but didn't have the time to hit it. Very happy/great deal for the price!
