Not what I was expecting

We arrived in our room with an odor for first then after checking the bathroom and beds, stains were found on the ceiling like water could have been leaking from above. The windows had a cloudy look in areas and the the trim around the windows were covered in thick dust. The stove didnot work at all so we called front desk and the clerk said " ok let me call you right back",waited 20 minutes only to call back with no response. My son walked up front only to find the lobby empty and the clerk sitting down eating pizza with the maintenance guy while talking on her cell phone. 8:00 pm he discovered that he could not fix the stove so we were moved to another room. Great so we thought until we tried to use this stove only one eye worked, the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes, roach crawling on wall, no fitted sheet on one of the beds and no toilet tissue in the bathroom. Contacted guest services again no results. Spoke with manager next morning everything was taken care of with a free night on them. Received linen next morning but no clean towels but clean wash cloths. We checked out but never will check in at this suite again.

Convenient

Pros: Nice friendly staff. Very accommodating. Laundry room, computer room and lobby were very nice.
Cons: Need more staff. Rooms can be cleaned better. need to have pool towels available during busy times.
Location: perfect location to everything. Love the location.

The room itself was ... but???

The room itself was very comfortable .... having said that, Room B207 is very noisy with extremely loud pluming noises caused by what sounds like the pump. It goes on all night and day really making it difficult to sleep. The other disappointment was dispute the fact that they had clearly spent a great deal of money to refurbish the whole hotel ... including our suite, the just painted over the bathroom door frames that had been badly damaged by a dog. Chewing and scratching it. There were still open holes in the walls as well. For a room that bills at 150.00 to 250.00 per night that seemed very cheap and lower quality than HS standards. We have stayed at many HS and useually are thrilled. Stayed at this one before too and the rooms were in need a a makeover. Just disspoonted at the shoddy quality of work.

Hotel staff extremely nice and helpful. With the hotel fully booked we didn't experience any hiccups. We enjoyed our stay and would return!!

Great Lodging

Pros: The location, comfort & cleanliness.
Cons: Better access to rooms for us "older" people!
Location: We chose to be near the mall & restaurants.
We came for the night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our suite was above & beyond what we expected. In hindsight, we wished that we had planned to stay longer. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Breakfast and the dinner that they served Mon thru Thurs. was very good.
Cons: Pool maintenance
My sisters and I stayed here for a week for our yearly sisters get away. The entire staff was very nice and attentive. Our only complaint is they need to have better pool maintenace. We were there several days before the pool and spa were clean enough to use. Of course it was early in the season and they were waiting for a part to come in for the spa. I don't think this is an on going problem. When we checked out we were asked if there was anything they could do for the inconvience and gave us a discount on the room. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Nice hotel in midtown

Disappointed from Texas.

Pros: Tell Hilton Corporation about the problem.
Cons: Get rid of that manager.And quality control.The food was not up to par.I even lived in a Homewood Suites for 3 months & I know the difference.
Location: Location fine.
I had a very nasty contact with manager. The toilet was dirty and her reply was i could call expedia and they would help me find a room elsewhere.She was rude.I couldn't believe this.As I was checking out I saw the sign that say the hotel was privately owned and operated by Hilton.I will be sure to tell everyone I can not to stay there. Good location, but cleanliness was an issue

Pros: Easy drive to downtown Vienna.
Cons: Cleanliness needs to be improved.
While not within walking distance to the historic sites, it was a quick easy drive to downtown Savannah. The room was large and well laid out, but it was dirty. We stayed thre nights and when we arrived there was a used washcloth on the floor and someone else's hair all over the bathroom. The toilet seat was scuffed with dirt ingrained in. The pool was so dirty that my kids (who spent years living in the developing world) refused to go in.

Could be a nice Hotel

Cons: Housekeeping staff needs to improve. A LOT !!
Hotel layout is nice, rooms are nice, breakfast is nice. Housekeeping is terrible and they are the sole reason for this negative review. Everyday we got less towels, shampoo etc. Every single day we had to call and ask for additional towels and supplies because it wasn't replaced with the same quantity. Half the time we still didn't get the requested towels after calling and I had to go to the front desk to complain. The room was not cleaned properly and sheets weren't replaced every 3 days as they said they would. The housekeeping cart was in front of our room almost the entire day and it was as disorganized as the Housekeeping staff. Worst experience with a Hilton property ever, and I am a Gold HHonors member so I have seen a few.
