Nice hotel not far from Tybee and River StreetPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: I was taken with the size of the rooms.
Cons: I had a refrigerator in my room but a microwave would have been nice too. Also, the complex does not have a laundry room.
Location: The location was about 35 minutes from Tybee Island and about 20 minutes away from River Street.
I immediately felt welcome at Hyatt Place when the fresh scent of the lobby greeted me. Both receptionist were pleasant , resourceful and knowledgeable. I was even more pleased when I reached my room. It was huge! I was excited about the sitting area which I claimed for "me time". I loved the brightness of the rooms and I cannot mention enough the spaciousness; even in the bath rooms!!! Hyatt Place is a winner on my list of home away from home.

Very convenient to the airportPosted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Convenient, clean, modern
Cons: More reliable wifi
Location: A few 100 meters from the i95 Interstate and convenient for the airport but no public transport to it. Savannah Historic District well worth a visit.
Less than 2 miles form the airport, this hotel is almost new. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable - our 'suite' had a sitting area with TV and bedroom area also with a TV. Fridge and coffee machine were provided. The self service buffet breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot and cold food, certainly enough to keep most people going through the day! Although the hotel does not have a restaurant for evening meals. there is a grill on one side of the hotel and a Waffle House on the other. Wifi worked fairly well, but download speed and responsiveness fell off dramatically at the peak evening period. There is ample parking in what appeared to be a safe but not secured car park.

WonderfulPosted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: 99% everything
Cons: The bathroom door is glass and just a tiny bit of a slot you can peek in. When you are traveling with a child this makes it difficulty to have privacy
Location: Airport and shopping
We stayed for several nights over Thanksgiving. The room was excellent and so was the staff. Morning breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel recently.

A+++ They made a BIG FAN out of me.Posted Mar 26, 2015
The staff was so friendly and helpful. The finishes were new, modern and clean. The breakfast was great! And I LOVE the fact that they have an on-site bar with beer, liquor & wine and full (REAL) coffee/espresso station. The room was phenomenally appointed and comfortable. VERY happy with this stay and look forward to booking future stays at others in this brand.

The pool was not available. Shouldn't advertise itPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pool was not ready for a mid March trip! They shouldn't advertise a pool if it is not avalaible. Staff was rude and said although it is dirty we can go in if we want. Unprofessional staff and needs management around!

Suite SpaciousPosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: It is tastefully decorated and packed with amenities.
Location: Historic Savannah is about eight miles away, but very easy to reach.
Our family of five made a long trip with reservations in several different hotels. Only Hyatt place and Fairfield Inn actually had beds to sleep five. The others claimed they couldn't get a number of guests from Expedia. One of our children had to sleep in the floor in those hotels, but not Hyatt Place. They provided a beautiful spacious suite with two televisions, a desk, a home-sized bathroom. The pullout sofa was comfortable and the layout provided space for all of our stuff.

Wonderful stayPosted Mar 9, 2015
Didn't want to pay high prices for downtown hotels, so looked for something close, and this was perfect. Even my 3 girls, ages 12 and 14, raved about how perfect the hotel was. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and immaculate. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Will definitely choose Hyatt Place for future stays anywhere!!
