Good nights sleepPosted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: The location & the beds.
Cons: A mini fridge would have been nice.
Location: Historic Savannah is a must see! It's like a city, without all the additude
Beautiful hotel located on Riverwalk, everything is right there! We've been in Savannah before & stayed more toward the center of the historic district, I prefer staying on the Bay street area because the shopping & pubs are open a little later and everything is close together. All the staff were very pleasant, the room was a nice size & I slept great on their very comfortable bed! The only thing I didn't care for, is we got a room on the inside. It was like staying in a futuristic town, it was nice & quiet, but I perfer being able to see the outside when I wake up. Next time I will request either a street or bay view(which is an upcharge). All & all a great stay for the price & would recommend to friends.

Great location, but very expensive to stay here.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Cons: Food is expensive, parking is expensive, service is poor, and rooms are below average.
I recently stayed here over Thanksgiving break with my husband for a special birthday weekend. I initially chose the hotel because I got a good deal with extra add-ons. The location was very convenient to the historic district and to River Street, BUT the expense to stay there was not worth it. Parking is mandatory and very expensive. The first night we ate in the hotel lounge because we arrived late. The food was awful and expensive for wings and a burger. The concierge was very pushy and we ended up doing tours we normally wouldn't have. The guest rooms were below expectations. I thought we would have a river view, and we ended up with no view. THe house keeping knocked on our door by 8 each morning...and the cleaning was minimal. Overall, we will not be staying here again due to the expense for what you pay for. The extras ended up costing instead of being "complimentary".

Thanksgiving tripPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Location rocks Staff at Windows breakfast buffet was excellent You can call from room and put your name down for wait
Cons: Third afternoon there when housekeeping came they didn't clean bathroom They took souvenir glasses we had gotten from bars I only recovered two
Location: Everything on the waterfront, Congress has a lot going on especially if you like live music drove to Tybee to see and climb the lighthouse beautiful
We decided to hit Savannah last minute for Thanksgiving and wanted to find an nice affordable hotel on the water. After much research we decided on the Hyatt and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel met our expectations on pretty much every level Our rate included the breakfast buffet which was a great value and the staff at Windows are great

Convenience!Posted Dec 1, 2013
Cons: Dining facilities.
Location: Almost all major attractions in the historic area are easily reached, as are many great dining establishments.
The Hyatt Regency is in a great location - central to many local attractions in the historic area. The room was large, with a great view of the Savannah River. Our only complaint is that there is no on-site restaurant serving dinner, which would have been convenient more than once. However, there are numerous local restaurants within easy walking distance, which is great, providing the weather is cooperative!

Nice hotel in historic Savannah.Posted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: It was clean, reasonably priced, and the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: Insulate the rooms better.
Location: The Hyatt is located right on the river, close to shopping, parks and restaurants.
This hotel was very nice and accessible to River St. and historic Savannah. Our room overlooked the river and the view was excellent. However, our room was not well insulated and we could easily hear the occupants in the adjourning room, as well as, their TV. My sister and brother-in-law's room overlooked Bay St. and they could hear street traffic, as well as, the occupants in the adjourning room. So, it may be that this problem is common with all the hotel rooms regardless of location. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful; fresh orange juice and a varied selection of food, which is replenished often. Omelets are available and made to order. The wait staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. There is a daily fee to park on site. (Parking on the street is available but is very limited.)

Wonderful hotel in the middle of downtown.Posted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: Everything it had to offer.
Cons: The front desk staff.
Location: Central location
Amazing views, many amenities, great location, and great room. The front office was rude by talking down to other staff in front of us and made us wait while they complained about their job situation.
