The hospitality was a 6 (if that's possible). The facility itself is marvelous - whisper quiet A/C, private rooms with a sitting room. It was very relaxing. We took a glass of wine to the gazebo and watched the sun set over the river. It is a very peaceful place.

This was my first trip to Savannah, but the Oglethorpe made it an enjoyable one. From the convenience of being emailed my check in code, to the furnishings, and the location, everything was superb.
Parked the my designated parking spot, and did not move it for the duration of the trip. Everything is within walking distance.

We found the Hotel a real gem. Elegantly furnished it was a very pleasant place to stay.
The staff were helpful and the atmosphere friendly.
There were nice 'extra' touches like the five o'clock wine and snack sessions and the late night port.
These gave us an opportunity to meet other guests.

We loved feeling like we were in a bed & breakfast, but had the privacy of a hotel. Location was great. Happy Hour Monday - Saturday with free wine & cheese. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again!

We went for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The room was beautiful. It had a mini-balcony with a view of the river.
We parked the car and didn't need it again until the weekend was over. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.
