The hospitality was a 6 (if that's possible). The facility itself is marvelous - whisper quiet A/C, private rooms with a sitting room. It was very relaxing. We took a glass of wine to the gazebo and watched the sun set over the river. It is a very peaceful place.

We love the stay, the hotel was all that we hoped it would be. In the heart of the old district and walking distance to the downtown shopping and of coarse starbucks. Would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Fantastic location, wonderful experience and beautiful rooms.
This is a house that could be offered as a tour instead of a hotel! that is how much History it has; yet, they have remodeled and made it a modern super comfortable hotel for the Twenty First century.
Just be aware that Expedia is not "transferring" the information about children, and we almost didn't get to stay because the room only fitted 2 people, not 3.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The room was very large and had two queen beds. Everything was clean, there was free wifi, and the reception was very helpful in scheduling tours and pickups. To be honest, I didn't spend much time in the hotel because I was out around the town the entire weekend, but everyone was extremely friendly and the room was clean.

From the time we arrived everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On the first morning we over slept for breakfast. The staff was nice enough to provide us with an array of food for our room, including Decaf coffee for my friend which they made especially for her.Five o'clock every evening was a lovely time conversing with several of the other guests at the hotel.
