Anniversary Adventure

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff was very friendly
We traveled by motorcycle to Savannah to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We were so pleased with our suite at the Inn at Ellis Square! Our daughter called to have a bottle of champagne delivered to our room when we got there and it was there! The breakfast was good also.

Good location and clean hotel in Savannah

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location/Cleaniness/ Price
Cons: breakfast(Coffee), earlier check in
Location: very close to the river shops,1 minute walk to city market, if you take a trolley tour (it stops at hotel), can walk anywhere in Savannah from hotel
The hotel was very clean and staff seemed organized and attentive. I do dislike 4pm check in with a 11am check out. I know this is pretty standard but they offered no flexibility with this. Can park very close to hotel for $13 a night which is good. Rooms were a nice size and very clean. Breakfast buffet was my least favorite, fruit, bread and biscuits and terrible coffee. I did not come to Savannah for their breakfast so this is why I would still rate them a 4 out of 5. Their "bar" is very limited. Opens at 4pm and closely early. Good price for a great location, just don't drink the coffee!

4TH OF JULY AT THE INN @ ELLIS SQUARE

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff.
Cons: The parking deck is too small to accommodate all the autos belonging to hotel guests. Also, the A/C in the rooms could work a bit better.
The hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Jenn, the bartender was a delight with her jokes and good sense of humor. The room was small, but we didn't spend a lot of time in it, as we were there to see all of Savannah.

This was a nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. However, the bathrooms was very small with limited room to dry off after a shower

Great location and great convenience.

Pros: Staff and breakfast and location.
Cons: Price seemed high.
Location: Very close to River Street, restaurants and squares. All within walking distance.
Finding this hotel on our first trip to Savannah was super easy. GPS takes you right to the location and friendly staff greets you at the front door. We showed up hours before check in and we were immediately given our room which was ready to go. Super helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was the best I've had.

Classy place

This hotel is a walk away from the busy market street but just at the top if the shopping street, king street. We liked our room on the 10th floor with a view over downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. Starbucks is just next door. Love the beautiful lobby. For us walking to Toast for dinner just helped us work up at appetite.
