We had lots of room to move around and since we ended up bringing our dog at the last minute she loved having the room too! Joan's on Jones is in a perfect location and you get a glimpse of being a local!

.Charming, dog friendly lodgings in the heart of the Historic District. With breakfast and parking included, Joan's was a great deal. 'A' suite has a living room (with sleeper sofa), bedroom, and kitchenette; 'B' suite has bedroom, ladies dressing area, full kitchen, and outdoor patio. Decor is shabby chic with lots of travel mementos from around the world. We will definitely return.

Bed & Breakfast with Large spacePosted Apr 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Large space with nice antiques, sitting room, bedroom and kitchenette. Fresh flowers a nice touch. Convenient parking in the rear. Breakfast was set up in kitchenette so available anytime - early or late. Muffins & croissant with jam & butter, fruit, cereal with milk, OJ, coffee & tea. Only drawback was hearing street noise - cars and people talking as walking by and could hear noise from rooms adjacent.

Pleasant and private.Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Privacy, self-service, amenities, location.
Cons: We were very stupid about using the TV!
Location: Super easy to get to the riverfront and every thing else. We really appreciated the alley parking off the street!
We had a great time in our own, self-contained apartment on the garden level.

Hope you don't have loud neighbors...Posted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed here the night before and after the Savannah marathon, and the two rooms are only separated by a thin door. Fortunately, our neighbors only talked during normal hours, but you could hear every single word they said. I could imagine it would be a nightmare if you had rude neighbors staying next door. Also, on Sunday morning after the race, we were pretty much kicked out of our room at 9 a.m. when checkout wasn't until 11 because Comcast had to come and fix the TV that didn't work in the room. We didn't complain about the TV, so the owner must have had the maintenance planned. I just thought it was rude not to plan it around her guest schedule.

Due to the unfortuate double booking Joan was able to book us at another B &B. It was wonderful for her to go above and beyond the call. The next time we go to Savannah we will be staying with Joan.

Pros: Private entrance and price
We had a wonderful time here. The value is unbelievable. So much room for a very reasonable price. Great location and just absolutely beautiful. We would love to return.

Quaint and convenientPosted Apr 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Located in the historic district, the location is great. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous. We stayed in the garden suite, which included an entry foyer, small kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The bedroom was cute with timber ceilings and brick walls. Overall, a good place to stay a couple nights, but any more and I may have gone insane sleeping in the 19th century.

Lovely little place on most haunted streetPosted Apr 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice little place in historic Savannah. Joan's is situated in the lower level of one of Savannah's historic homes on what we were told was the most haunted street in the historic city. Don't worry, we didn't spot any ghosts. This unit was comprised of bedroom, bath, what could be a small dressing room I guess, small sitting room and kitchen. Also a small back patio for your personal use. Off street parking which is a big plus. A couple minor issues were, there were few windows to the outside so we found it a bit stuffy at night. There didn't appear to be air conditioning, so it would be very hot I'm sure during the summer months. Also, breakfast didn't amount to much. Maid service left a couple muffins/bagels in the kitchen and juice/milk in the frig. They didn't explain how breakfast worked, so we weren't sure if that was supposed to be our breakfast, or just some snacks left out. It wasn't a major issue with us though, as we went out for breakfast to local restaurants we'd wanted to try anyway. Would certainly recommend.
