Quick getaway

Posted May 23, 2015
We booked this bed and breakfast on a whim as we were traveling from Florida to North Carolina. That had a fantastic deal going (we booked a wed and thur night) and when we arrived, they actually upgraded us to a room that would normally be twice what we paid. The ambiance was wonderful, the staff friendly and attentive, and the included breakfasts were amazing!

Beautiful hotel and amazingly friendly people!!!

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: I liked everything about this place. From our room to the view outside. From the food to the incredibly friendly staff. We loved this place!!!
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Savannah, Georgia is a walking city. You're in the historic district. there are beautiful squares every few blocks. The colonial cemetery. Jones st.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms spacious and very comfortable. We stayed three days and each breakfast was excellent and through out the day they give more and more in way of wine and tea and pastry. The people who work there genuinely like people and are easy to engage with to the point that you feel you've left with new friends in Savannah, Georgia.

Beautiful BNB, friendly staff, old south charm

We spent one night at Kehoe House and definitely would love to go back. The house is beautiful and unique. The location is excellent and overlooks one of Charleston's beautiful squares. The wine reception and breakfast were excellent too.

Spacious, well appointed and quiet

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Charm and location
Cons: Due to the sucre grid and one way street business- a bit challenging to drive to via gps... Better to just look on a map!
Location: Near to the river walk, but nested nicely in the historic town
Perfect location... And comfortable for a single woman

Great place, have stayed 2 times, will stay again

Everything was great, breakfast is fabulous. We really like everything about the Kehoe. My only qualm was the wifi, quite undependable. Usually we would've been out and about, but we decided to stay and watch some Netflix...not the best idea. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this B&B

Lovely B&B

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The homey and relaxed atmosphere; especially the warmth of the fireplaces.
Cons: Our mattress was a bit too soft for our comfort; usually a pillow-top mattress is just perfect for us, but this mattress was just plain squishy!
Location: The Kehoe House is located along the route that the trolley tours take; and is situated across the street from the Davenport House.
This is a very charming and inviting B&B. We arrived early evening and was pleasantly greeted by Remy who helped bring our many pieces of heavy luggage up their front stairs and into our 3rd floor bedroom. Our room had a huge balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy; unfortunately, the weather was too chilly to have our breakfast served outside to enjoy this enhancement. They serve high tea in the late afternoon comprising of wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and two different hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. Late evening, they also serve hot and cold beverages with biscotti. A hot breakfast is also made to order and is served until 10:00 A.M. In their common rooms, there are 3 gas fireplaces that are kept lit; and since we were there during a cold snap, it was most enjoyable. The Kehoe House is well appointed with period pieces and is in keeping with the age of the house. It also has a modern elevator, so that you don't have to climb the many beautiful staircases. There is a wonderful restaurant right across the street from them, the 1790 Inn, that not only serves delicious food, but has a most talented pianist that plays appropriate music for your dining enjoyment. The neighborhood is quiet and picturesque. Parking is close by in a safely lit lot, and the rate was reasonable compared to most hotels.

Great place to stay

The location was perfect; it was close to everything, but far away from the noisier areas. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks with fellow guests.
