Clean enough, bad location.Posted Apr 12, 2015
Room was clean, staff friendly. Noise from the road was ridiculous. Loud, smoking neighbors and nothing was done about it.

Decent hotel; good locationPosted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Location was excellent, room size and furnishings were good, and our room was very clean. Price was right, too...
Cons: Breakfast area is under-sized for size of hotel -- very crowded, difficult to find a seat, and foods were not kept stocked as quickly as necessary.
Location: Very close to a mall and other outdoor strip shopping areas, as well as chain and local restaurants. Only 15 minutes' drive to historic downtown.
This hotel met our needs on a recent visit to Savannah. We wanted reasonably-priced accommodations outside the historic downtown area, and this LaQuinta fit the bill. Located close to the mall, other shopping, chain and local restaurants. Very reasonably-priced for a comfortable room.

Eh..it's okPosted Mar 30, 2015
And only ok. Nothing to rave about. The hotel is older, needs a little update - and it's in the middle of a really busy section of town. I honestly wouldn't stay here again if at all possible.

A comfy bed for a stopoverPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Price was good and that is definitely a factor for a place to sleep en route.
Location: A long drive from the highway and from the old section of Savannah. Lots of traffic getting back to the interstate in the morning.
The room was fine for what we wanted- a quick stopover en route. But not much that makes it stand out. Breakfast was o.k. but lacked anything hot unless you count make-it-yourself waffles. Just didn't appeal to me as much as some others.

We will not stay at this hotel againPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Beds were ok.
Cons: Hotel management and staff need to listen to the customer. Reservations need to be kept and not cancelled.
Location: Location was convenient to where our son was playing a soccer game. Didn't do anything near the hotel.
I originally had a reservation for 2 nights. 24 hours in advance I called the hotel directly to cancel one of the nights. When we arrived to check in, we were told that we had already checked out. They told us they were SOLD OUT and didn't have us a room. After waiting an hour, they gave us a room, but acted as if they were doing us a favor. They said they would just bump someone that was checking in after us. Breakfast was pitiful! We ended up getting juice and went out and purchased breakfast and ate in our room. Lots of water damage throughout the hotel. Beds and pillows were fairly comfortable(or we were just exhausted). Definitely will NOT being staying at the hotel again!

Rates for this Hotel should include refrigerator and microwave as standard. There was dust on top the door locks. Cleanliness of bathroom was possible not outstanding. Took 3-4 times for door to unlock with key.

Nice hotel, not our first stay there.Posted Mar 20, 2015
We stayed at this hotel about a year ago, and both stays have been above average. Staff is pleasant and the rooms are clean. Our reservation was messed up, we reserved a standard king room and ended up with a double room. We decided not to say anything and just deal with it. Didn't ruin the stay, just was a little uncomfortable at night. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, just make sure that you get the room that you reserved if you are staying more than one or two nights.

Poor customer servicePosted Mar 17, 2015
Cons: Customer service. Noise level - management or security asking guests to keep quiet. The breakfast area was busy and messy in the morning.
Location: Downtown is more than 6 miles away and parking was expensive. I do not suggest staying here if there is a large event downtown.
My party checked in 3 hours early for our room because we arrived from out of town early. We checked in immediately. Within 20 minutes, we realized this hotel was much further from the activities we had planned and we informed that parking was a nightmare anywhere in downtown. We requested a refund and wanted to change hotels. Expedia was great! They were happy to reimburse per hotel policy. La Quinta's manager-on-duty refused stating we checked in over an hour ago (false) and would have to pay the full amount. We called the main La Quinta customer service line and were given a reference number and told we would be called back. Never happened. We ended up spending 25% of our vacation figuring out transportation and paid more in parking costs than we would have just paying extra for a room closer to our activities. Needless to say, La Quinta lost 4 customers due to their poor customer service that weekend. The hotel was also noisy. Security was around but did nothing to keep the noise level down past 12 midnight. The staff gave us a hard time for requesting extra towels.
