“We loved it!”

The hotel was extremely nice. From the moment my wife and I got out of the car, everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. The decor is fabulous, and the ambiance of the room was very relaxing, which is why we took this mini-vacation. The photos of the room do not do it justice. The 700 Drayton restaurant located in the hotel was spectacular. The food and service was outstanding. The hotel is located directly across from Forsyth park, and our room had a view of the park. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, and a couple of times, I actually just sat back, relaxed and just gazed at the park. There is an excellent place a few blocks away called "Clarys" that we went to for breakfast, and we loved this place as well. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Savannah.

“Stay in Savannah in Style”

My boyfriend and I came to Savannah for his friend's wedding. They had blocked off rooms at another hotel closer downtown but I looked up Savannah Hotels online and fell in love with this one! When we arrived our room wasn't ready yet, but they took our phone number and said they would call us when it was ready. We walked to Clary's to have lunch and when we were finished we received our call that it was ready. The hotel lobby smells so good when you walk in, I ended up buying one of the candles they burn. The hotel art is kind of different but it makes for an interesting conversation. The hotel room is just like the pictures online. The shower and bathroom door are glass so there isn't much privacy except for the curtains you can pull together to create kind of a wall. But I was just amazed by the bathtub! There was a concert going on in Forsyth park Saturday night when we were there. The couple that got married came by our hotel one of the nights we stayed and we showed them around, they were equally impressed. Valet was very attentive and always asked if we needed directions anywhere. Our last day we ate breakfast at 700 Drayton, amazing! I was very satisfied with my choice of staying at the Mansion for 4 nights.

“Beautiful hotel”

Very nice hotel in a great location by the park. The location isn't by the river but it is a great place to stay as the park is right accross the street.

“The is a jewel in a pearl of a city”

As always the Mansion is wonderful....I have been a room guest and had my eldest daughter's wedding there. It is rare to have a great setting, GREAT FOOD, great service and a great room (like the W chain the rooms are not large, but are very comfortable).

“Great Hotel to stay and enjoy!”

The hotel is beautiful, richly appointed and has wonderful art throughout the mansion. It was such a pleasure to spend time at the Hotel in it's restaurants, bars and pool. The atmosphere was glamourous and exciting, but very relaxing and friendly. Great place to stay and de-stress.

“outstanding way to turn 50 if there is one!”

Everyone there was courteous and went out of their way to be of service to us with any matters we had from dinner reservations, to directions, transportation, luggage storage, internet connection, and refund of incorrect minibar charges. Location was awesome, being across from the beautiful Forsyth Park. We enjoyed being back in the quieter neighborhood but having a free shuttle down to the river where all the action and night life is happening.

“Beautiful boutique hotel”

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful rooms, art in the hallways, excellent service!! I would stay at this hotel again...absolutely!! The only things I can say that are negative would be: 1. Not a lot of light in the room. We were on the 1st floor and the window provided a lot of light, but when you are getting dressed you need to draw the drapes because the sidewalk is right outside the window. 2. The toilet was separate from the sink, which was good. But, we had a room with 2 queen beds - so we were not a couple. The door to the toilet, which was right in front of the sink, was glass, so you can see through it. Same with the shower door. For someone using the shower or toilet, you had to be in the bathroom alone because the person at the sink can see you! If the doors were not glass, it would have been easier for multiple people to get ready at the same time. 3. The restaurant next door - 700 Drayton - had excellent food, but slow service. The waitstaff was very nice, but they need to work on their efficiency and attention to details...especially for the prices you pay there. But, the decor and friendliness were excellent.
