Not the best experiencePosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The staff were pleasant. The room was spacious. Free wifi with multiple networks.
Cons: Cleanliness could have been improved greatly. Also, they need new pillows. The pillows on the bed were old and had lost all volume. Flat and hard.
Location: It wasn't too far away from Savannah, about a 15 minute drive. A couple of restaurants around so good for grabbing breakfast before going sightseeing.
The room was pretty big for a Microtel. We had a single Queen, which was the same size as a double Queen, but with a chair instead of the second bed. It mad the room much more spacious. However, the bathroom was not very clean. There was hair in the bathtub... and it wasn't from someone's head. Eww.

Adequate for a short stayPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: location to airport
Cons: Hotel desk staff and security
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The desk attendant was a bit confused. She gave us our key and someone else was already staying in the room. We had to go back to the desk and get issued a new room. Then upon returning, our key was not working. The desk clerk insisted we were in another room (room 133) when we knew we were in room 131...we had to go back again and get new keys...I was concerned that we had so many keys to so many rooms...this doesn't seem safe.

Beautiful Room/Incredible Value!Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The room and the value.
Cons: After the staff mood improved, the only area of opportunity would be the breakfast. We chose to eat out the second day.
Location: Pooler is near Savannah and Tybee Island. We enjoyed the beach, shopping and a ghost tour in old, haunted Savannah!
My family stayed in a 2 Bed at Microtel in Pooler. The room was very clean, spacious and beutiful, and easily the best value I've received in lodging in many many years. The staff was a little cranky the night we checked in, and we weren't given enough towels. But after that first night, the staff (same people) became very friendly and accommodating, and we had no further worries. Breakfast was a little simple - our other hotels on the trip offered hot, but really for the money the breakfast was very fair.

Microtel Inns are really great for the money.Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The bed. The cleanliness. The staff. Good parking, I felt safe.
Cons: The Breakfast here. It was stale cereal, some bagels and juice. Not much. I certainly have had better.
Location: There is a WWII Museum of some sort but I didnt go. Plenty of shopping around and places to eat.
I was blistering hot and when I arrived at the hotel it was the same great bed I have found in all of Microtel Inns. I took a wonderful long shower and relaxed like a queen in the soft bed and plump pillows. In all of my travels in The United States and around the world I look for Wyndham and Microtel. Comfort.

Nice rooms and beds, was a little humid when I went, but perfect for one night stay. When you are tired during road trips, this is right next to I95 and cheap, so it was a good stay!!!!!!!!
