Nice suite. However, the ground level rooms are noisy from the outside traffic.

Amazing place!

The Inn was as appealing on the inside as outside. We stayed in the queen river view suite and it was huge! We also had the best view of the river. You could see the boats coming in. The place was clean, the service was incredible, and the location was within walking distance of everything! The only reason I gave it a 4star was because the walls were so thin that you could hear entire conversations from the people beside you. We were in the middle room and we had a very loud group on one side and a loud couple on the other. It was very hard to sleep at all. I did love the feel of the place and we enjoyed our stay there overall.

Would definitely stay again

We certainly appreciated the convenient location and size of the multiple bedrooms suite. The spaciousness made our stay much more enjoyable. I fell asleep looking at the moon through the skylight in the upstairs bedroom. Breakfast was quite good - finding some hot things was a nice change from the strictly continental breakfast. However, the wine & cheese was woefully inadequate. It started at 5:30 and we arrived at 6:10 to find absolutely nothing left on which to place the small number of cheese cubes that were left. We lingered for 30 minutes but it was never refilled. Overall, however, our stay was wonderful and we would choose this hotel again.

Loved it!

We just spent 2 nights at the Olde Harbour Inn and all we can say is, Fantastic! It's a beautiful property...romantic...convenient to everything...historical...comfortable...excellent! The staff was wonderful and professional...the property was clean...as were the rooms. Everything was in good working order and just really nice. We especially loved our Klondike bars waiting for us in the freezer upon our arrival. :-) We can't say enough about the Inn and the city itself...very beautiful all around...and we had a great time. Just a note...the Inn offers a city parking pass for $12...well worth it...we parked very near the entrance on Factor's Walk and never had to use the car the entire time, loved it. The Inn itself is right at the end of River St...so I suggest taking the trolly tour...have them drop you off around stop 15 at the other end of the street...and work your way down in the restaurants, shops, pubs, etc...and end at the Inn, great time. Wet Willies is a great way to end that walk with a couple of really good frozen rum drinks. :-)

Daughters Wedding

Pros: Easy access to River Street.
Cons: I don't see anything that could be improved upon.
My daughter found The Old Harbor Inn on line for me. We were both delighted with the accommodations. The room was clean, the staff friendly and very accomodating.

Convenient to Riverwalk

Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: The staff is great. They surpassed all our expectations, especially Kevin. The breakfast was wonderful with hot and cold offerings.
Cons: The Inn is an old building with charm. Our friends room had been updated but our room needed a makeover desperately. Steps to upstairs felt unsafe.
Location: Location is right at Riverwalk where there are many shops and restaurants. It is an easy walk to many of the sights in historic Savannah.
We stayed for three nights and selected this inn because of location and that there were balcony suites where the bed was in a loft area. For health reasons, I usually need a rest in the afternoon and this set up would be nice.

Beautiful hotel by the River.

Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing
Location: Restaurants, shopping and within walking distance to all of the historic district of Savannah.
From the time we called because we were lost on Bay Street until we were warmly greeted by the lovely lady at the desk, everything was wonderful. I cannot say enough about this hotel. We will certainly return to Savannah and stay at this hotel over and over again. The breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, ice cream and fresh robes were an extremely nice touch.
