Great Hotel for families!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
This hotel is located directly on River Street, providing fantastic walking access to all of the main attractions. We spent two nights with our teenage children, and the space was perfect with a master bedroom for us, a pull out couch for our son and a loft for our daughter. The staff was attentive and friendly and the hotel was well maintained and nicely decorated. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we will definitely stay here again on future family trips.

Great Hotel

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The location, the staff, hot breakfast every morning, wine reception and juice and water in the lobby
Location: Walking distant to all of historic downtown, we went on a riverboat tour, ghost tour and were able to see all the historical site. Lots of shopping
We really enjoyed staying at the Olde Harbour Inn. The staff was were helpful and friendly. The hotel was older but I liked its charm and character, unlike so many of the big chain hotels. They had a great hot breakfast every morning, along with a wine reception every night, which was a fun time to visit with other guest from all over the country. Also the ice cream in our room every night was a nice treat my husband loved. I think the location was the best, we walked everywhere since we did not have a car with us. We also used the DOT, bus, ferry and trolley system , which was free when we did not feel like walking. Its right on river street. Our room was clean and big, we had a microwave and refrigerator, which was really nice for keeping extra water and drinks in, the room also was very cool, which was nice since we were there in July and it was very hot. They also had the best juice in the lobby for the guest and had a different kind everyday. I would stay here again!!

Historic Inn

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and spacious rooms
Location: The hotel overlooks the river and is convenient for the shops, bars and restaurants on the riverside. The trolleys also stop close by.
We stayed 3 nights in this historic inn. It was in a good location overlooking the river. The room was spacious with a sitting area and kitchen. An added bonus was the ice cream that was delivered to the room each evening and the cheese and wine in reception. The breakfast was also good.

Nostalgic and classy hotel on the River

Posted Jul 7, 2015
We had a very enjoyable stay. Located right along the waterfront and within easy walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants. The room was quite cozy and both the evening snacks offered with wine and breakfast were very tasty and satisfying. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negatives were parking and getting in and out of the parking area. You must drive down a small alley that consists of multiple large stones, so the way in and out is a bit bumpy. We arrived in the afternoon and there were no parking spots available. We had to park momentarily in the loading zone and wait for cars to vacate. Fortunately we planned a little excursion out of town shortly after our arrival and when we returned from that around dinner time we were able to get a parking spot.
