Nice Hotel,Very Friendly helpful Staff.Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Friendly Staff,and location
Cons: Hot Showers!
Location: The Olde Pink House,a must see,is directly next door.Great food!Close to all shopping, and restraunts.everything within walking distance
I was pleased with the Inn,although I had to take cold to lukewarm showers every morning.Very disappointed.I figured it was maybe because everyone was taking showers around the same time, and it is a older hotel.Three days though was ridiculous. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and always greeted you.The free continental breakfast was pretty good too.Overall,i would stay again, but with hot showers and airconditioning being my priority,i may reconsider.

Southern hospitalityPosted Sep 15, 2014
Friendly, courteous service. Loved that breakfast, wifi and wine in the afternoon were included. The fruit infused water at reception was very welcome during our stay which was extremely humid. Added bonus of The Pink House Restaurant next door. Walking distance to river and Leopolds a bonus.

Nice hotel near Riverfront and sightseeingPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: As stated above.
Cons: Checking for water damage on ceilings, leaking toilets, and that faucet handles are on tight.
Location: Telfair Gallery and Owens House were enjoyable. Riverfront shops and restaurants were good. Cruises at 2 p.m. & 4 p.m.
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Nice surprise for a happy hour with cheese, crackers, fruit and a very good pianist. The fresh chocolate cookies at night were fantastic too. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only bad experience was that our toilet had a bad leak & the water sprayed out too. Otherwise, very clean, cute rooms.

Vacation over Labor Day Weekend, 2014Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Outstanding features of this hotel include the fresh green plants (even one in the room), terry bathrobes in the closets and the comfortable beds.
Cons: The breakfast area is a bit small (but I was there on a very busy weekend).
Location: It is an excellent location-just a few blocks from the waterfront, city market and many restaurants.
Our overall experience with Planters Inn was excellent and I would stay there again. I was particularly pleased with the comfort of the bed, linens and decor. The fresh green plants in the reception area and in the room was an unexpected but much appreciated touch. The breakfast offerings are more than adequate with many fresh fruits. The staff was very friendly.

Quaint boutique hotel -Posted Sep 5, 2014
Beautiful hotel, nice amenities. Small bathrooms but room was nice and very clean. Bed so/so comfortable. One of two elevators did not work during stay. Front desk and concierge crew were not as attentive as they should have been. Continental breakfast was good; cleaning staff excellent. I liked being on the square, but not being next to parking garage, which made a noisy neighbor.

Historic Hotel close to the RiverwalkPosted Sep 5, 2014
Cute small historic hotel next to the Riverwalk. We had the room with two twin beds for two gals and it was great. Complementary ice if you call for it, coffee maker in the room, and breakfast each a.m. Folks at the desk were kind friendly and helpful. Leopold's famous ice cream is around the corner and great shopping nearby. Would stay there again without hesitation.
