Great location, too expensive for the facilitiesPosted Jun 23, 2014
The hotel was not as nice as I thought that it would be for the price. My room was even upgraded to a room with a supposed "good view", but the view was of a parking deck. Location was very good though. Central to everything!

DisappointingPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Clean and staff was friendly
Cons: Should have alternatives for room service if there is an event. Need to update there TVs and internet usage
Location: Right in heart of downtown. Most places only a block away
We booked a hotel for a nice night away but was disappointed. The room was average, the TV and Internet did not work well at all. The hotel is right beside a public parking garage so at 3 am was awoken to the sounds of partygoers finally leaving. Room service is basically a no go if there is any event going on.

Beautiful, Historic Inn set in Downtown SavannahPosted Jun 19, 2014
Location: Great shopping & Restuarants!
This is a quaint inn that is right off of River Street that is a gold mine! I really enjoyed my stay and plan on going back when it is not a working trip and take my husband for a weekend get away! It is located very conveniently to all great restaurants and other interesting local places to visit within walking distance.

Great for walking to the waterfront.Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: Great service, easy check in and out.
Valets were very personable and willing to help. Check in and out was very quick. It was easy to get to downtown area shops and restaurants. Car pickup from garage took no time at all. The room was clean and anything you needed was easy to get with just one phone call (like ice before the time they came by to fill ice bucket). There was a newspaper every morning.

Beautiful room in a beautiful city.Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Location! Lovely surroundings! Elegance. Comfort. Nice to have wine and cheese reception in the late afternoon .
Cons: Attitude of staff. Breakfast - not a good selection.
Location: Historic area with all the wonderful Squares, monuments, houses, and riverbank close by. A truly beautiful city.
This hotel is in an excellent location in the historic district and our room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The whole hotel is very elegant. The location is very good with many historic houses and squares within walking distance and it is only a couple of blocks to the Savannah River and all the restaurants, bars, and shops along the riverbank. Unfortunately, the staff is not friendly and the concierge was quite unpleasant and sneered at us and all the guests, it seemed. Definitely in the wrong job! Surprising, since everyone else we met in our travels was charming, polite, and helpful.

Fantastic hotel in historic district of SavannahPosted May 30, 2014
Pros: It is exemplary of the very best combination of comfortable accommodations and highly competent and friendly staff. Truly Southern Hospitality !
Cons: Only the breakfast offering. A bit over commercial with most items made off site.
Location: This hotel is perfectly located only a block away from the riverfront: two blocks from the city market: in the center of the restaurant area.
The moment we arrived we were welcomed in the most gracious manner and that warm hospitality endured through our departure. The staff are well experienced at responding effectively to guest needs and incredibly helpful with tourist advice. The facilities well kept. Our room was perfect and immaculately cleaned. Colby, the valet, who initially greeted us was representative of the best in hotel service and remained an engaging assistant throughout our stay. All this, and a great welcome reception (wine & cheese) each evening hosted by Karen, who had a knack of putting each person at ease. The location is ideal and easily accessible to public transportation. We highly recommend his hotel.
