Good value for the money.

Internet and air conditioning worked great. Hotel could stand a makeover. It is worthy of a 3-star rating, but just barely.

Staff very helpful
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Convenient location and comfortable atmosphere.
Cons: I am sure that the new management will work on the grounds, especially around the pool courtyard.
Location: Very convenient to two malls and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Savannah.
Although under new management, the staff were very helpful and explained they are trying to bring the property back to a pleasing appearance. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast, especially the hostess, was great. The food was good and she helped to ensure the guests got what they wanted. Very neat dining room. Tropical storm Andrea made things a bit hectic, but the staff was quite calm and helpful.

Crack Heads in the parking lot
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Location: location was good. Shopping and reasurants very close.
the staff was friendly. When I drove into the parking lot I thought the hotel was closed, Parking lot looked abandoned and not kept up well looked like a 1 star hotel not three star.

This is NOT a 3 star facility- It's a Dump
Posted Jan 29, 2013
Pros: The sheets were changed on the day we checked in.
Cons: Repair damages, take out some of the items. There's just too many items in these small rooms. Buy more towels and washclothes.
Location: Lots of shoping and eating places. Downtown isn't too far away and not far from the Interstate.
Stay away from this dump. After receiving my confirmation from Expedia, I went to other sites to see this places rating and discovered that they had the worse rating for a 3 star place in all of Savannah. I can tell you the ratings were not wrong. This place is the pits. Although courteous, the staff isn't helpful at all. When we asked for additional towels and wash clothes, we were told that they didn't provide those additional items. We were told that we had to make do with the ones in the room. As for the room, they cram a lot of stuff in a small space so the room was cramped. There was a large hole in the bathroom wall and a crack behind the toliet that went all the way to the ceiling and midway across. When we called the front desk to informed them of this, one of the guys from the front desk came and tried to tell us that we must have done that because it wasn't there before. When I pointed out that we checked in less than 5 minutes ago, he change to it must have been the guess prior to us and that he was make sure that my credit card it charged for damages. I will be monitoring my statements for the next few months to make sure. The toliet and sink are so low that when using the toliet you felt like you're sitting on the floor and the sink is so low that I had to kneel to brush my teeth and wash my face, and I'm only 5'5. This is the last time I do a "blind" reservation because I now see that a 3 star rating means different things to do different people.

Will try another hotel next time
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Pros: It was on a main street.
Cons: Security. Customer Service.
First, the staff told us not to use Expedia next time that we can give a better deal. Second, the room was non smoking but all the other guests smoked just outside the rooms. When you opened you door and closed it smoke would be pulled into the room. Also, please we're partying and cursing outside the room.

Pros: breakfast
Cons: lack of cleanliness & upkeep
Location: OK if you have a car
Location OK if you have a car, breakfast good. Other clientele very noisy. Broken glass on walkway to breakfast. No where near as good as the photo on the internet looked.

Cons: dead roach in bed

Would have rated a little higher if I hadn't found a dead roach in the bed.

Cheap & Close to Downtown.
Posted Jan 29, 2013
Close to downtown and not very expensive. It is in the process of being remodeled and we got one of the newer rooms so I have no complaints about it. It is pet friendly. I would book this hotel again when we go back.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Noise from parking lot in the middle of the night.
I was very disappointed in this hotel - it was definately not what I expected. From the time I checked in I could not wait two leave...was there for two nights.

Great place, great price!
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Beds were real comfortable, shower head unbelievable
Cons: No complaints
Location: Next door to the best steak house in town
I was really surprised when I checked in. This used to be a different chain and the rooms were old and in need of a make over. This place was beautiful. The new owners have done an incredible job of refurbishing the old worn out rooms and updating everything. Couldn't have been happier, even the price was fantastic. The only thing that made me sad is that they have cut down the old trees by the pool. I know it is probably an insurance thing. Hope they plant azaleas or crept myrtles. Will definitely stay again! Even if this is where I live.
