Cons: Get real maintenance workers that know their jobs in there, e.g., painters
Location: Not much to do but enough for the reason we stayed there. We had a few choices as to where to eat, pharmacy and gas selections, close to highway.
It was a good experience. They were able to accommodate our hotel stay due to unforeseen circumstances. My son that's in the military, his flight was delayed from Afghanistan. Even though they picked the Expedia highest rate for the nights that we stayed. Some nights were lower in price than towards the weekend. Because they allow pets in the hotel, even though they looked clean they had pet hair on the furniture and floors. Vacuuming can only pick up but so much. Whoever painted the walls did not bother to protect the pluming hardware and therefore the water spout, tiles, and floors had paint on them. You can tell it was a rush job.

Cons: needs more of an uplift than they were doing....need new mgr.
came into lobby and thought...no way is this a 3*.....went to room(nonsmoking) found a few upgrades but carpet was old & worn, bathroom was old, tile looked unpleasant..opened nightstand drawer and found ashtray filled with butts and ashes...took to front desk and told them this was found in nonsmoking room...next day when came back after sightseeing, no soap or shampoo replenishment, toilet paper roll on floor....called Expedia to see if we could change hotels...they called hotel mgmt on our behalf and mgr did not believe our story, didn't offer to move us, we asked for refund so we could go elsewhere, they said no....very unpleasant young woman as mgr....WOULD NOT RECOMMENT TO ANYONE.

Pros: The negativity over shadows any positive items, so hard to really say
Cons: finish updating the facility.. outside tables busted up and filthy around pool. Lock on room door had a gap and you could push it open without a key..
Location: Little too far away from downtown Savannah.. 30 minute drive
They didn't have the amentities in my room, example: Hairdryer, I had to go get the manager to get me one.. They tried to charge me again for my stay.. I had to get manager to refund me.. The A/C quit working in one of the rooms and the other A/C would not cool down the room even on MAX A/C.. Looks like they are renovating the place.. Loud music in a bar inside hotel way past midnight on Saturday night and fight broke out at bar as well.

Nice staff, very friendly. But hotel room had black mold growing in bathroom and on room walls. Looked like our room was next in line for construction, so that may change. Price drove us to lower expectations, so that was fine. Best part is that the staff was very friendly.
