Good place to sleep overnight while traveling

Posted Feb 6, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was very good, paper in AM, clean, comfortable king bed . Had microwave and fridge but did not use them. Clerks were friendly and helpful
Cons: Rooms are dated and in rough shape toilet rocked when sat on..
Arrived late in evening and the outdated room was clean, bed comfortable and slept well. Breakfast was better than average with both buffet style (eggs, sausage patty, biscuit and gravy) as well as continental type items (fruit, yogurt, juice, pastry etc) . Local TV did not get CBS morning show which I like so was the only sore spot. If you like Charlie Rose and the gang you may be disappointed. Clerk said they were having lots of trouble with the TV service. All in all, a good deal for overnight travelers.

Attention si vous voyagez avec un animal

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: L'emplacement

Dear Mr. Jacques, Thank you for choosing Quality Inn Richmond Hill, Georgia during your long trip from Montreal along I 95. We regret that you were caught off guard by our pet fee. Our furry guests are very precious to us and we go through great length to keep their "facilities" as "picked up" as possible. We beg your understanding about the fee. We do appreciate your business and feed back and wish you more safe and enjoyable travels in the future. Margit Velasco, Guest Services Manager

Unclean

Two dead roaches, old nachos in the microwave. Paper thin walls, can hear everything what the neighbors were doing. Damp and smelly

If I could rate this as a -10, I would

This place was horrible. From the snotty guy at the front desk who gave us a hard time at check in to the dirty destroyed room. We got into the room and there were hairs on the floor and the bathroom was dirty. The dresser was missing drawers and the ones it had were busted to heck and back. Walls were very thin, heard everything, ALL NIGHT. It was a cheap place to crash which was the only good thing.

Dear Ms. Lori from Maryland, Our new management team at the Quality Inn Richmond Hill deeply regrets your negative experience with our hotel this summer. We have since made many changes and improvements (no more "snottyness" of any kind!) to our property. Our guest rooms have been newly refurbished with new furniture, carpet, mattresses and bedding. We have reorganized our house keeping department and greatly added to our healthy well stocked breakfast bar. However, we are still committed to provide a good value for our guests. Again, allow me to apologize and thank you for your comments. Sincerely, Margit Velasco, Guest Services Manager

Didn't get it right

Posted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The stay was nice, but reserved my room through Hotels.com, not Quality Inn. Site advertised a choice of rooms, and I selected the smoking room with a king bed. Problem was, this is a non smoking hotel. The only think I had a problem with at the hotel was the fact the signs point one direction for the ice and vending, when in fact the ice machone was on the other end. Staff at the hotel was nice and friendly. The wing bar was a nice place to visit, as the ladies are dressed in shorts and very nice tops. The breakfast was good and had a selection, except for Sunday morning (checkout day), and the selection was not there, and when asked when things might be out, it was undetermind. Attitude of one person was, it will be out when it is out, OK, so leave me alone. That is my opinion of the attitude and the way I understood some of the words. Those are not the actual words used.

Room was smoky despite non smoking policy. Halls in the walls, musky smell, out dated decor. Hotel is under construction for repairs, but our room was untouched.

Very comfy

It was probably one of the best night sleep that I had in a while. The only problem I had was finding my way around. I had an even number room, you have to walk into the courtyard to reach evens. The dining room was the same, you have to walk by pool to get there. Other than that, great stay. I was surprised how quiet my room was with it being by pool and a Saturday night.

Room was attractive and clean, bathroom had not been updated EVER. Old mold stains on grout and floor. Staff gave vague directions on the "free Breakfast" and were insulting when I asked a second time. Free Breakfast was not worth finding.
