Comfortable hotel 30 min from beach

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The hotel is a non smoking hotel and as I expected. I was not disappointed with my experience during of my 3 night stay.
Comfortable hotel with a 30 min drive to the beach. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel is close to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. Well appointed beds provided a good night of sleep.

Smelly sticky carpet

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The bed was new and surprisingly comfortable. The pool looked good but I did not use it, because I could not wait to get out of there.
Cons: Change the carpet or better yet put tile in the rooms. Also offer non gluten choices for the continental breakfast that I could not eat
Location: Very close to the airport. 10 miles or so to Savannah.
The room smelled like urine or sewage. The carpet was sticky and we washed our feet and put our shoes back on. When we first got there they attempted to mask the stench with something like fabreze. I could still smell it through the deoderizor. I didn't ask for a different room because the hall way smelled also, so I figured all the rooms stink. After you book with them they have a no cancellation policy. This is a really big hotel. They have large rooms for weddings, two appeared to be going on as we arrived. The staff was not terrible, but not very friendly either, I did not feel welcome. The smell was the worst in the room. I would not recommend this hotel. It looked clean but the floor wasn't. By the time morning came my eyes were bright red and soar. Several of the lights in the room did not work. Some one later told me some hotels put the people who book on line (who pay cheaper rates) in the dog rooms. That could be, but due to the smell in the hallway I think it was the dog wing of the hotel. Oh I should mention, I am allergic to dogs. I was grossed out.

Needs total makeover

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Dog Friendly
Cons: Everything except the staff was great
Location: Didn't look
Room in poor repair but clean. Needs new everything including paint and tiles in bathroom. Worst place I have stayed in a very very long time! Very surprising considering it's a Ramada!

Don't stay run

Posted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: everything
I don't have time to write much but staff would not help you restrooms hardware rusty and toilets leaked. Room smelled really bad. People hanging out in the parking lot the whole time, the hallways were hot and the electronic door locks did not work

Run down and nothing what picture show.

Posted May 12, 2015
I stayed two nights and the toilet was broken. Had to lift top to flush manually. On second day we never got clean towels but we were not there till late that evening and didn't feel like calling or going to front to get them. The whole place smelled from the lobby to our room. The continental breakfast was a joke. Bagels were hard and old, nothing much more than prewrape muffins and cereal. Never stay there again!

Price was right hotel. Do not overpay....

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The bed was at least comfortable, thank goodness.
Cons: Carpet. Furniture in the room appears to have been chewed on by a dog. Breakfast. Monitor fire alarms better.
Location: A short 15 minute drive from River Street in Savannah and Tanger Outlet.
The lobby was welcoming, check in clerk was friendly. NO elevator for the second floor, hallways carpet was dirty and torn and raveling. TWO A.M. ~ fire alarm starts going off, I attempt to call the front desk ~ but no phone in the room. Called the front desk on my cell, had to wait for the fire dept. to turn the alarm off. 2:15 a.m. "pound, pound, pound" the fire dept. announces themselves ~ and that the rude wake up call was a false alarm. The "free breakfast" was muffins & yogurt, coffee & milk only. Needless to say ~ we will not stay at the hotel again.
