Pros: The best was the style, comfort and great staff.
Cons: Should have a room service and a dining room
Location: All that Savannah has to offer is in walking distance, the Tourist and non-Tourist areas.
Beautiful Hotel with very comfortable and well appointed rooms with true value. Savannah is a gorgeous town and a better hotel one will not find.

Loved our room and hotel. The location was very good right by the Visitors center and Museum of Railroad and Savannah history. Not in crowded riverfront section so it was quieter and cheaper. All transportation nearby. Pool was nice and breakfast was good. Room was very nice with full kitchen! We like walking so we got around Savannah very well. Really enjoyed our visit.

Very reasonably-priced hotel in part of the historic district. Complimentary breakfast each morning was just ok. Afternoon happy hour and snacks was satisfactory. Staff very accommodating and friendly.

The check in was quite a mess. Just one girl in the front desk, she was a liittle bit unexperience. She even didnt tell us how to get to our room. The room had a broke bed. Just sitting on it makes an awful noise. When a request another room she answer the room was full so I wll have to sleep in that bed for the night. When I push the siuation she offered a cottage (outside around the pool). She didnt said nothing until I push the situation. Entering the cottage all lights went out we had to call for service. After does two situation thw rest of our stay was ok. Good breakfast and cleaness of the room.

Pros: Location, Location, Location.... Although it is located on the western side of downtown it is well within walking distance of everything.
Cons: Improvements?? Maybe a little more comfortable couch. That's it!
Location: Downtown is full of historic places to see. It'll take about two days to take it all in.
Spent two nights here on our 20th wedding anniversary get-a-way. The staff was super friendly, had great amenities and a full breakfast. Very clean! Don't worry about shopping around, just book it.

Great city to visit. Hotel was a .8 mile walk to the Savannah River and nightlife. Only minor problem with the room was no full length mirror.

Nice, clean Residence Inn within a short distance to most attractions, This was our second trip to Savannah for a wedding and this Marriott is a little out of the River St area but close enough to everything, The staff was very nice and valet service was efficient if you need your vehicle, We walked to most places for dining, etc. There's a lot of great places to eat within walking distance so I think it would be sufficient for most guests. Also a nice place to stay if you have a dog with you.

Pros: The size of the rooms, the great staff and the location.
Cons: Coordination between hotel staff.
Location: Next to the tourist center and close enough to visit the historical district without the noise.
Exhausted After traveling all day, we were excited to meet the rest of our family for a weekend reunion which I had arranged. The hotel was full, however and We were sent to another hotel- which they paid for. We spent the time set aside for a late night dinner getting to the new hotel and getting checked in by a person who was unsure what to do, and it took a very long time. The hotel they sent us to was nice, but we were given a small room in the back. The next day we came back to check in here. The front desk worker was the only snide person we met in the whole city. She was dismissive and insulting under the guise of being funny. We should have made arrangements to guarantee our late arrival, but wrongly assumed that when the others on our shared reservation checked in our room would be held. As a result, we lost time with family on this already too short trip. We won't make that mistake again!

Cons: A little more heat, room was too cool.
Experience was good. Enjoyed stay. Would have been better if fellow travelers had their room closer to ours.
