Great hotel!

Hotel was perfect! It was in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was kept clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They made excellent recommendations and always greeted us with a smile. They offered free breakfast in the morning which was surprisingly really good! Decent wifi connectivity in our room. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Savannah.

Very pet friendly-- we had an amazing time!

Pros: Clean, nice staff, dog friendly, short walk to attractions
Cons: Ice maker didn't work
Location: Short walk to historic district, dog park, war memorial next door
We had never taken a vacation with our dogs before, and we were sort of nervous about how it might go. We didn't need to be worried at all because this hotel was so wonderful. The hotel is 100% dog friendly, so if your dog barks a little in the hotel room, nobody is going to be upset. The morning breakfast was great, the reception with free beer/wine each night was great (only Mon-Thurs), and the entire hotel staff was so accommodating, I can't rave about them enough. It felt like my home away from home. On a map, it looks far from everything, but we were no more than a 20 minute walk from absolutely everything we wanted to do. Also, there's a great dog park that's a 20 minute walk away called Mother Matilda Beasley Park. We went every day so the dogs could run around-- it was fantastic. I will stay here every time I am in Savannah. Also, I've been reading reviews about the gas station next door and how it attracts shady characters... it was an incredibly nice gas station! Huge, well lit.. really nice! Not the sketchy, dark dirty place everyone was trying to paint in the reviews-- it has a walk in beer cooler! It was not scary at all! You people need to be a little less sheltered...

Great hotel.....very clean......staff was wonderful, polite and and very helpful! One problem.....you can smell that it is a pet friendly hotel :-( was not to happy about that.....but we travel with room spray......we will be staying again! Btw......breakfast buffet, was outstanding!

Pros: Close to attractions, Very clean, Pet friendly, happy hour!
Our room was very nice, bed was comfy king size with nice pillows, full kitchen. The staff was excellent and even provided us breakfast after the time allowed. The hotel provided us with daily happy hour for the guests which was a nice treat. Close walking distance to all of Savannah. I would definitely visit again and book my next stay at a Residence Inn. Really enjoyed the fact that it is pet friendly.

Very comfortable hotel conveniently located.

Pros: Great breakfast and happy hour buffet.
Cons: The weather.
Location: Conveniently located in the historic district. There was an abundance of art galleries, museums, restaurants, historic sites and wonderful natives.
I had a very enjoyable stay of four nights. I only walked throughout the historic district of Savannah not having to use my car. The staff was wonderful. They were very friendly and helpful. I could not have been more delighted.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Charging much less for your pet.
Wanted a place near the center of town and it was great. Great location and a nice place. The charge for our little Yorkie was was very excessive . Other hotels on our trip from New England charged a minimum fee which was fair. The charge for the dog was outrageous. It was 3/4 the cost of the room. Had to pay it because Expeidia dose not let you cancel once you book the hotel through them.

I was also sorry to hear that our pet fee agreement was not clarified before you arrived. We are indeed pet friendly, but there is a $100 sanitation fee to clean the room after a pet has stayed in the room. I can certainly understand how that can be an unpleasant surprise upon arriving. Very comfortable and extremely practical location if you are with kids. Enjoy the gas station convenience and children museum which is a great playground.

Clean and good hotel . Staff were polite and friendly . I wish location was in the Bay Street . But it is close enough .
