Hotel was good overall and close to Savannah historic section. Negatives include: Aside from reception person, the staff encountered in hotel was rather cold and aloof. Room only made every other day and no complementary coffee during the day. Breakfast was OK but not anything out of the ordinary. Pool is very small. Hotel gives impression as wanting to cut costs wherever possible,

The room was comfortable, clean, had plenty of space, and good amenities. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. The area was easy to get to and not cramped or congested. Savannah is really beautiful, clean, and safe city. It exceeded all my expectations. It was easy and fast to get to downtown from the hotel. I'm very happy we stayed at Residence Inn.

The heated pool was by far the best feature especially in colder months of travel. The room could've served to be a bit more updated as the couches were older and had a faint smell. Blankets had hair on them which was disappointing. The room itself was very convenient. Loved the suite and the separation of spaces. Staff was sweet and helpful.

This is the kind of place you just rest your head if you can… the room, I was originally given was covered in dog hair… I called down and they moved me to another room. The front desk person was nice enough to meet me at the new room, which is just a few doors down. Both rooms were dirty. It looks as if they only just maybe change the sheets and replenish what’s been used… The phone was covered in dust underneath the sink was covered in dust the toilet the top specifically was covered in hair, and there was hair around the sink. The couch and the chairs had Cheetos on them. Don’t ask because I don’t know. The glassware was dirty. The tub was dirty. It was very quiet and in a good area convenient to where I need to go. But I wouldn’t stay there again. The staff was nice enough and the breakfast in the morning looked decent. Just a no for me to stay again

Friendly staff, good parking, clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable, the pullout sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. There were also no bed linens in the room for the pullout bed. The breakfast options--phenomenal!!! My family members with dairy sensitivities were very pleased with the options for them, including oat milk and dairy-free coffee creamers (even flavored ones!). Overall, we were pleased with the stay and would stay here again.

The room was horrible! It was dirty and the furniture in the living are had huge stains. The backs of the chairs in the bedrooms were cracked and worn out. The glass in the bathrooms were dirty and the toilet in one of the bathrooms was broken.

We loved the space and the amenities. We found the room extremely clean and comfortable. There was a lot of road noise that was heard all night and some serious stomping from our upstairs neighbor. We realize that the noise is out of the control of the hotel, but something to consider when booking.

For the price we had to pay for one night it wasn't worth it. This was the closest hotel to the venue with vacancy so we booked it. Room was clean (except for the giant cockroach crawling around the room). The towels in the room smelled like they'd been washed in dirty water and the hotel itself is in great need of an update!

Checked in to a slight inconvenience my room was not properly cleaned and property was fully booked the following day property manager very nice person took care of making sure my room was cleaned correctly the employees were all very nice & I loved the breakfast & the lady in charged of breakfast , typical food options but it was good & the breakfast lady was always making sure everything was in ordered & alway refilling very nice lady I would stay here again when I come back into town without any hesitation

Easy access to major roads, decent shopping in the area, not far from the historic district. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious for the price, with kitchens on par with many Air B B setups. Highly recommend for long stays. King bedrooms are basically one room, but the Queen bedrooms have a separate room and door so the outer room can be used for kids.

Worst hotel experience. Room was extremely unclean, they left pieces of hardware all over the room, headboard had handprints and white powdery residue. Absolutely disgusting. Could hear neighbors upstairs walking, running, using bathroom. We went to front desk to ask for another room and they refused us. The next night woke up at 5 in the morning to an alarm that kept going off every 20 mins. Overall horrible experience

Inconvenience in room allocation
We booked two rooms for a family trip. The rooms were provided at completely opposite ends of the floor. This was extremely inconvenient as we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and their grandparents had to walk all the way across for each meetups.
Rooms themselves were good. The breakfast could have been a little better, usually in residence inn, we have better choices like potatoes, breads etc.

Key card didn’t work, had to replace the card. The door is and was jammed to easily open. Had to call the reception twice. Guest service had a grim face when asked about difficulty in opening the door. No complimentary water bottle - not sure if it was priced. HvAC noise all thru out. Although, find all amenities required to our needs.
