Could have been better if AC worked. If bathroom door closed. If pool had water. If they provided breakfast as stated on their website.

Pretty Good Stay

Pros: It was easy to find and it was a short drive to River Street and Tybee Island.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a laundry bag in the room. I was offered a trash bag when I went to the front desk to ask about a laundry bag.
Location: We were a short drive from River Street and Tybee Island. It was pretty much centrally located.
We enjoyed our stay mostly. They were still upgrading the hotel so there were things like the pool that wasn't ready. We had to get use to hearing the helicopters flying over that were landing at the airfield. We did have to jiggle the card in the door on the outside entrance and in the room door to get it to open. Overall the staff and all were great. I would stay here again after they get finished with the upgrade.

Disappointing Hotel - Going Through Transition.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and tried very hard. Hotel is in good location.
Cons: Everything could have been improved.
Location: Right off the major thoroughfare in Savannah made it easy to access a wide variety of things.
Went to check in at about 5:00 pm and the systems were all down. Spent 1/2 hour waiting and checking in. Get to room and key doesn't work, go back down and wait some more and second set of keys don't work. Go back down again and bring clerk back up... she uses master key to let us in and the room is not even finished...missing dressers,TV table and chairs. Try another room and same thing. Haul all luggage to far other side of hotel and try third room. It is finished but our keys don't work. Second set of keys work with a lot of fiddling and trials. Internet doesn't work at all, easy to connect but NO bandwidth so I need to make my phone a hotspot. Hotel was going through a bit of transition so it might get better but I was 99% disappointed in the hotel.

Noisy hotel

Very noisy. There was no sound barrier between the rooms. I spent the entire night listening to the person in the room beside mine snoring. Also when they talked it was like they were in my room. My room was prepaid. But upon check in I was required to pay a 100.00 deposit. The free breakfast consisted of cold cereal, cold danishes and bread for toast. On my second night I was kept awake by car alarms going off, people standing in the parking lot laughing and talking. And cars racing through the parking lot. When I complained to the front desk they showed no concern whatsoever. Would not recommend this establishment.

Thought this hotel was closer to down town Savanna

Pros: Quiet location
Cons: Needs an elevator and the cleanliness could be improved.
Location: There is a large shopping outlet near by
The hotel is fairly new and in a quiet location. However we could not have a room on the ground floor and there is no elevator to the Second floor so we had log our luggage up a flight of stairs .

Nice for the price

Pros: Clean, updated, friendly staff
Cons: Maintenance, breakfast, beds were a bit worn in.
Location: Location seemed iffy at first but felt safer after driving around and seeing neighborhood. Close to downtown, hospital. Easy access to most things.
Room was best priced for the holiday weekend. So I didn't expect much, just needed shelter. But the décor and cleanliness was much better than expected. However, the handle on the toilet was broken (I'm handy enough to keep it working till I could report to desk), Also, the bathroom door would not latch and lock. Luck, we were all family and not a big deal. They did make sure it was written up and I hope it was fixed for the next guest. The "breakfast" which was served until 9:30 was gone at 9am. Another guest complained and they were getting more food. All I wanted was coffee. Real creamer would have been nice. Otherwise, no better than mini coffee in the room.

Pros: Clean, good value, location.
Cons: See above- more towels and soap in rooms.
Location: YMCA is one street away.
Room was exceptionally clean . Only one towel and no soap available in room with one bed. Desk staff continued on phone with a customer at check in; she should have acknowledge customers during an extended wait. Safety concern that room key would not access outside door, which was propped open with a rug. Location was great. Hotel was very clean. With attention to more detail this would be a stellar place.

Had been cleaned since prior stay but not well. Toilet bowl dirty, cobwebs where wall met ceiling. No elevator; as I get older this becomes more important. Doors slamming until 3 AM. I will not return to this motel or recommend it.

Only Stay Here If You're Desperate

Cons: Tv, bed sizes, add microwave or coffeemaker
Location: shopping centers near by
Don't be fooled by the fireplace in the lobby. The amenities are old. beds are small. We asked for a king sized bed and got a king sized head board with a twin sized mattress. We spent as much time away from the place as possible. We were so uncomfortable we even ended up ending our trip earlier than planned.
