The perfect distance from midtown

Posted Jan 17, 2015
I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this hotel provides that. I did have to fix the toilet by myself because the water leveler was jammed. Not a huge deal for me tho

The price was the only good thing about this hotel

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: the price
Cons: Everything
Location: Hard to get to and away from all attractions
The location is strange, the TV required strange methods to get it to work, no coffee in the room, Breakfast was at best mediocre.

Wasn't awful

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Thought we would give it a go despite bad reviews, but experience similar to what we had read. First two rooms they gave us had not been cleaned. Room we finally got had a bad odor, bed spread was dirty/gross, toilet and toilet seat were loose (I tightened both up), hallway carpets were filthy. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and staff friendly. Have stayed in worse and much nicer.

Great stay for affordable price!

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Cons: They are always looking for ways to improve the hotel.
Location: Grocery store, shopping centers and malls nearby. Only 5 miles from downtown. Great location to get to any place in the city.
This is my second time in a month staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly helpful and willing to help with whatever you need. You get breakfast every mornings, can have a fridge and microwave in your room for no extra charge. Nice pool and patio area too.

close to the city

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Yes. They should have waited little longer to operate this motel. Looks like they are cutting the corners by bringing the old furniture. They can put
Location: It is about 4 miles from downtown Savanah. The city is beautiful with old southern charm. Good resturents and nice historical buildings.
The first room they gave us does not have a working toilet. We changed to the second room. This has a tub with the cement pactches. The carpets are not clean. Beds are OK. the closet has rust stains. The towels are different sizes and not very clean. The breakfast is terrible. They do not have regular sugar for coffee. The coffee is like hot with brown color. They are fixing most of the rooms. They should have waited until they are done with the modificatios. The swimming pool is with full of leaves. Lobby is not clean. I will not suggest this to any one of my friends.

Okay motel for the price

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Keying system needs to be replaced. Security needs to be tightened.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.
The staff at this motel was very accomodating. There were multiple issues in our first room so they moved us into a better room. The room key seemed to be set for one-time use and we had to keep getting them reset. The whole keying system was the worst I have seen and needs to be replaced. Security was very bad. We would find doors to outside propped open often in the evenings. One time a guy who said he didn't have a key followed us and hurried to slip in behind us to meet with someone in one of the rooms. Made us feel very uncomfortable so we waited to see what he was doing. After he made a call we heard a door open and a female voice; he went into the room. Food was not good.

I needed a last room for one night.

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: They have breakfast of cold & hot cereals. Muffins and rolls for breakfast. Coffee, juice and milk to drink. You can also make your own waffles.
Location: It is located within 5 miles or 10 minutes of downtown Savannah. Grocery store near by.
The hotel looked clean with a great pool area! The rooms had an outside patio with chairs to enjoy the fresh air. They also have an ice machine and some vending machines on property. Each room has a refridgerator and microwave. Plenty of parking.

Could not see the Motel from the street.

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything
Location: This was our third visit to Savannah, and we knew just where we wanted to go.
The room was dirty when we checked in. There was one bath towel, no hand towels or washcloths in the bathroom, not even a mat for when you get out of the shower. Also, they listed In their ad a full breakfast would be every day, when all that was offered was white bread, cereal, waffles (which you made yourself and no batter). Cinnimon pin wheels, which were horrible. On our second day, our room key would not work along with the lock to get into the place, and we had to go the front desk to get it programmed. The sheets would not even stay on the bed. Our overall experience was horrendous, and we will definitely not recommend this vile place.

Modest Hotel Near Downtown Savannah

Posted Oct 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here before - seems to be improving. Great out side area. Not too far from the waterfront and downtown area. Good price for area. Girl at front desk (I think her name was Payal) was very helpful.
