Non-gracefully aging motel

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: We had reservations for only one night and that it was there after a lengthy day of travel.
Cons: Need loving care and upkeep. Make certain that the amenities listed as available is indeed present without having to move in from unoccupied rooms.
Location: Shiloh National Park and Battlefield
Overall a disappointing experience due to the initial lack of amenities advertised by Expedia. Motel is not aging well with difficult key-in locks. Although we were one of only a few attendees we were placed on the 2nd floor of the motel while first floor rooms went unoccupied. A prevailing overall dismal ambiance throughout the stay.

Served its purpose

Not the best nor the worst. It is an older hotel but was clean. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was a convenience but had to go to the lobby for my coffee in the morning.
