This was located perfectly in Historic Downtown Savannah, walking distance to everything! There was no need to rent a car at all. Being right on the river made the walks even more pleasant. The staff was great, clean room, nice property. Overall a wonderful stay!

The lobby was nice but the room smelled like mold. The duvet covers barely cover the duvets, which were dirty and flat. I also had a spot of blood on my sheets. And the AC never got colder despite cranking it when we were both getting ready.
We ordered coffee on Fri morning and it came in paper cups and seemed like the free stuff you'd get in the lobby, not a fresh pot like most room services offer.
Also, you can only reach the hotel on foot by River St because the sidewalk on the main road is closed due to construction. No one told us that until we got to that point and had to turn around and walk all the way back to stairs down to River. Would have been good to know that beforehand.
It's a bit of a hike to the action but it's a nice walk so we didn't mind too much. And the bartenders at the bar were absolutely lovely!

We had a great stay. Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction going on next door so you can hear everything outside if your room is facing the river. Also, probably due to the construction a roach got into our room when we opened the balcony door. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night. Other than that the hotel is very nice and clean.

The are so many great hotels in Savannah; why stay at this one: no valet, no bellmen, only $40 a day self park, parking deck a block away, old tired exterior, understaffed, etc. The view is great but you can have the same view with all the normal amenities just down the street.

I booked the room about a week prior to the stay. It was for st Patrick’s day weekend in Savannah and was quite expensive. We had the room booked for Friday and Saturday night. Friday morning I received a message saying my card was charged for the amount of the stay. Friday afternoon I had a family issue come up and we didn’t leave until Saturday. I get to the hotel Saturday and my room was canceled and nowhere in Savannah to stay. I spoke politely to the manager and she said I could have called. My card had been charged for the stay and I thought I would have been charged for the night anyway. I ended up being charged for the one night and had nowhere to stay. I thought this was a crappie way to handle this. I don’t travel a ton and was not aware of the fine print.They had my information and could have called me as well.

Top notched customer service by check in manager, Glenn. He was super nice and accommodating during our late night arrival.
Also, we were extended a complimentary breakfast by supervisor Radu. He made sure our room temp was adjusted and we had blankets.

Convenient to downtown, bay st, river street. We are from Savannah and needed a place to stay for the night while we had an event at the convention center. We’ve stayed here before and it was my first choice. Consistently a solid place to stay. There is construction nearby but did not affect our stay. Easy check in, everyone super friendly and available to help with questions! Room was clean, smelled great, cleaning staff always in the hall if we needed anything extra they were easy to find! 40$ for parking onsite. But worth it and everything is easily accessible if you forget something in your car.

The hotel is very loud. There were people yelling and raising cane at 2am, had to call the front desk both nights. there is an overpowering odor of cleaners throughout the hotel. Other that that it was great. very clean staff was friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is ideal however having guaranteed guests seems to have made front desk staff callous and uncaring in making guests feel welcomed upon check in, stay or check out.
It is important to know you will be charged for everything from parking to Wi-Fi (bad connection and impossible to actually use for working remote)
I would take the river walk to find dining, instead of eating at the restaurant as the food is adequate, but over priced and you will wait for ever for it. Room service was pretty quick. Overall I would opt for another hotel for my next stay in Savannah
