Great stop over

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Just needed a clean room, hot shower, sleep and a bite to eat before getting back on the road. Everything was great. Easy check in, clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed. Nothing special and breakfast was a waffle. I was a little disappointed there weren't any bananas but other than that minor issue, my needs were well met.

Great Price for a clean quiet room just off I-95

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Clean, quiet place with easy access to I95.
Location: The 8th Air Force Museum is a must see, and there's no excuse for missing it. It's the place with the giant jet bomber facing I16.
Clean, well maintained basic motel close to I16 and I95. Continental breakfast was average, but well presented. My room was on the ground floor but I never had a problem with noise from guests or the highway. Staff was very organized and friendly, even when guests were not. The only down side to the place is parking. The parking lot was laid out for small cars. Full sized pickup trucks, SUVs and large automobiles will find parking close to the building a little awkward.

Convenient, clean hotel near interstate 95. Large room with fridge and coffee maker. Very nice decor. Bathroom didn't have tub, but shower was better, anyway.

Substandard Hotel....

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Address the problems outlined above....
Location: 13 minutes from Downtown Savannah, one exit away from shopping and dining.
Check in went smooth, then I got into the elevator and that carpet needed replacing it looked like muddy feet had trampled inside of it and was very dirty. I got into my room and the bathroom sink was clogged (drained slowly) the shower floor had a DARK ring around it inside, I picked up the phone only to discover it didn't work, reported it and desk clerk said maintenance would check on it. I used my cell phone from that point. Got into bed and it felt like "fine sand" on the bottom bed sheet I complained to staff and it was replaced the next day. The breakfast was continental whereas other Sleep Inn's I've stayed at had full breakfast. This hotel was a bit disappointing to say the least, I won't be staying here again or recommending this hotel in the future.

Cons: Carpet need to be updated.
Location: Airforce museum, restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Savannah.
We stayed a week and were comfortable. Staff provided room service timely and were friendly. Hotel could use some updating of carpeting. Breakfast facility clean and maintained throughout time period.

The old saying is true!!!

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: The price was very good. I dont need fancy. But clean is a must.
Cons: Stains should be cleaned up and dealt with.
Location: It wasnt bad. Stores were close.
You get what you pay for.. The price was really good, but it should have been much cleaner. I sprayed lysol everywhere. Big stain on the ottman. Just because it was priced real good I really feel like cleanliness in this business is the least that one can expect. The employees at the desk were not very friendly.

Pros: Quiet room, nice breakfast
Cons: Have coffee, tea available in lobby on arrival
Stopped here after stressful drive through snow storm. Room was changed for us with no problem, preferred one away from lobby and elevator.

Not up to snuff

Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: The price and the location.
Cons: Maintenance and maid service.
Location: Convenient to I-95 and our destination in South Carolina.
For a relatively new hotel, this facility shows signs of wear. There was an angry customer at the desk when we checked in. His phone was not working and he wanted to get a wake up call in the morning. The desk staff was not handling the situation well. In our room two light bulbs were burned out. Two lamps looked like they had been through a brawl. The room did not seem clean. There were dusty surfaces. The Shower door was off its track. The shower floor was dirty. Even the granite wall was dirty or soiled. The breakfast room was over run and items were running out. It was not organized for a crowd. In fairness, the hotel seemed to be at capacity and the price that we paid was good. We left with a fire alarm going off and the whole fire department arriving. It was a false alarm, but we could not leave because the drive was blocked.
