Not what I expectedPosted Mar 4, 2014
I thought this hotel would be nice looking at the pictures on their website. Not so. This hotel is only 2 stories with no elevator. My room door barely closed and the "king size" room was quite small.

Great Location, excellent staffPosted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: The Staff
Cons: update AC units
Location: Close enough to downtown Savannah and right off the highway.
Visit was great. We brought our dog and they were super accomidating. The room was clean, nice, and quiet. However, the AC unit was loud but we were able to fall asleep with it on. Also, it was nice that it helped to drown out any noise that our dog could have heard to have her sleep better too.

Room needed attentionPosted Jan 5, 2014
The room we rented had the following issues; 1) No operable heat. Outdoor temp was less than 32 degrees. 2) Front desk phone was forwarded to our individual room in the middle of the night. We were awakened repeatedly during the night with telephone inquiries, until we unplugged the room phone. 3) Room furniture needed repair: a) bathroom door had no door knob of any kind, b) dresser drawers did not work properly. Not our best stay.

Good pet friendly choice for budget consciousPosted Jan 4, 2014
Pros: Pet friendly, Reasonable rate, Clean, Easy highway access
Cons: Could not access internet with the code I was given
The desk staff were friendly and helpful during both check-in and check-out. The room was small but neat and clean. They were happy to accommodate our large dog, while many other hotel/motels only allow small dogs. Their rates were very reasonable, especially considering the hot breakfast and free newspaper provided.

Convenient to 95Posted Nov 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Exceptional for the price. Great place for a stop when traveling 95 and need a place to crash. Pet Friendly. Decent breakfast bar. Staff nice. A/C-Heat system very noisy. Weather is cooler this time of year--so just turned it off.

Decent stay for excelent costPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked this hotel while traveling from PA to FL to use as an overnight stay. For our needs it served its purpose well. Reviews citing small room space are accurate. Rooms are small enough that some might feel cramped, especially if you are traveling with a family but it is room enough for two without copious amounts of luggage. Room layout and ammenities are consistent with what you'd find at many other major hotel chains. Location is excellent and did not take us that far off of our route down to FL. The surrounding neighborhood isn't the best but you won't feel unsafe or otherwise threatened. The hotel itself has been recently rennovated, but don't mistake that for meaning it is now higher quality. Appearences are nice but it is clearly evident the owner opted for the cheapest available materials and contractors. A/C unit was noisy and outdated to the point where we were more comfortable bearing the humidity than the noise created in order to keep the room cool. Service was excellent and made me miss living in the south. Manners, service and politness are rarities where I come from and down here it is a breath of fresh air to be treated with courtesy, even at 12:30am. There are two cats that wander the premises and are harmless, vaccinated and de-clawed. They are of no concern and should not detract from your decision to stay, but just be careful when you drive in. if you're bargain hunting you'll probably find it a good value to stay here.

The bed was hard (there was nothing wrong with it, but we prefer a softer bed). The only part that we really didn't like was that air conditioner was right next to the bed. So, it blew right in our faces all night long. I usually try to avoid hotels that have the a/c right there, but I didn't check before I booked this one. Other than that, the hotel was very clean and the employees were very nice.
