Great staff!

Posted May 19, 2015
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice location. Within walking distance to most places of interest. The street side rooms have a great view of RiverWalk and are a little noisy but the 1st floor rooms face inward and are very quite as was recommended to us by the checkin attendant.

Great hotel. Close to everything. Literally.

Posted May 18, 2015
The hotel was very nice. Right across the street from the historic strip and within walking distance from everything else. The front desk staff was not as welcoming as I expected but it did not affect my stay as opposed to my initial impression of the place. My room was neat and clean but very dim. There was little to no natural light where my room was (110). The complimentary breakfast was nothing special but overall enjoyable, especially while in the eating area which was beautiful. Lots of natural light and very comfortable seating. Parking was an extra charge which I don't believe in but it is what it is. Overall, the hotel is exceptional. I will more than likely recommend and book again!

Wonderful hotel in historic district

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Within walking distance from everything in the historic district of Savannah.
My friend and I just spent Mother's Day weekend with our 1 and 3 year old at Staybridge and we were blown away. Every member of the staff we encountered was so nice and always made sure we were taken care of. Check-in was quick and easy. We discovered that parking was $12 per car but didn't mind because it seems like you have to pay to park anywhere downtown. The room was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was just what we needed since we were traveling with little ones. The hot breakfast was far above what we expected. The hotel is right across the street from the river and within walking distance of everything else Savannah has to offer. I will definitely be staying with Staybridge again in the future.

Hotel was close to the downtown

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: I liked that is was located downtown.
Cons: Customers should know upfront about all charges such as fees for parking. The rooms are small and so is the bathroom.
Location: I really enjoy going to river street. I booked the room so that I could be near river street because I go to this area every time I visit Savannah.
The rooms were clean but very small. I requested a ground floor room when I booked the hotel but when I arrived the hotel clerk knew nothing about this so I had to accept a room on the upper level. I was told nothing about the parking fees when I booked the hotel and the clerks at the hotel didn't say anything about parking fees until it was time to checkout. A separate bill for parking was placed under our door on the day of checkout. We were given something to place inside the windshield and told where to park. No mention of parking fees at all. I think that all charges should be upfront and if you pay for parking the hotel should have valet service.

OVER AND ABOVE

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Really can't think of anything -- it was an exemplary experience -- and I have standards (though reasonable.)
Location: By the Bull River; walk the river front, shop, eat, history, picnic in the park across the street.
We arrived 2 1/2 hours prior to check in to see if we could go ahead and park. The clerk looked us up and said why not go ahead and check in, your room is ready. Score 1! Then time after time we would be talking amongst ourselves about where and how and someone would overhear us and chime in with great suggestions. Room was clean, bed very comfortable and location was by the Bull River with easy access to everything. We were even given a parking pass for the day on the day of our check out so we didn't have to go looking for other parking. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Nice Location in the old town

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel was not what I expected!
Location: River walk cross the street
Nice location, walk everywhere, especially river front. The hotel rooms are built like a cruise ship. If you are in the inside rooms, you get windows to no where (hallway), not very pleasing to me. Rooms need a bit updating. Breakfast is ok for a "free breakfast". Staff very friendly!

Savannah Visit

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel. There wasn't anything to dislike.
Cons: I don't know what that could be.
Location: All the shops along River Front St., the trolley station, numerous restaurants.
Every staff member that we had contact with during our visit were friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel itself was immaculate. The food was excellent and plentiful. Parking was close by and the hotel was located close to historic sites and restaurants. The Staybridge will be our first choice the next time we visit Savannah.

Stayed for the St Patrick's day festival. Location was ideal. The staff was extemly friendly and helpful. The flight out was extremely delayed and we were allowed to hang out, use the facilities.
